Welcome back dear listeners. This week we are presenting the Norway based Polish techno producer <a href="https://soundcloud.com/rraphmusic">Rraph</a>, alias of @staticsense. Rraph became official since 2013. Most of his releases has been published on major labels like Australian Gynoid Audio and Translucent. These are mainly digital releases, but recently his first vinyl was released on Gynoid. We are referring Gynoid Limited number 9, “Eseries” with a remix by Kwartz

kappa e ravve - spaghetti combination of two friends and djs: Kacpa (@djkacpa) and Raev (@raev). Both on the scene for nearly a decade, playing together for almost 4 years. Founders of Ciało club and a summer spot - Podróż. Originators of the Silberberg Festival and fresh project The Cat Club focused on trippy burlesque parties with psychedelic sounds. The boys are totally in love with 80s music, cosmic electro and dirty disco which make their performances warm and tasty as fresh buttered toast.

Born in eastern Poland, rraph treads the dark, deep soundscapes of techno. Since his debut release in 2013 on Translucent, he has count many others on the likes of Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Counter Pulse, Subraum and of course his base, Gynoid Audio. Associated with the project since its launch, rraph contributes as an A&R and also immensely as an artist signing acclaimed work such as the Eseries EP which includes a Kwartz Remix or the Syndykat EP. He has also been quite proliﬁc in providing remixes as well as tracks for various compilations. During the past years rraph has performed both live and as a DJ in renowned clubs around Europe such as Tresor, IPSE and Arena in Berlin, Corsica Studios in London or Le Batofar in Paris, Uebel & Gefährlich in Hamburg. Since 2015 rraph has been a member of Warsaw-based Behind the Stage collective and is also a co-creator of träume, an event series taking place in his hometown of Lublin.

Öona Dahl delivers her debut EP on Watergate, continuing her fruitful partnership with Dance Spirit along the way.

Last year’s memorable WhoMadeWho compilation saw Öona Dahl drop her first musical contribution on Watergate, collaborating with Dance Spirit for ‘Break The Stillness’, one of the highlights of the mix. The New York producer, DJ and sound designer, has cultivated a curious and evocative sound going back almost a decade, releasing quality cuts on Anjunadeep, Hallucienda (home to her 2017 album ‘Hollograma’) and All Day I Dream, where she has become a regular at Lee Burridge’s iconic party series.

‘Godtripper’ is a transcendental trip through psychedelic house tones, elevated by Dahl’s own breathy vocal and subtle swells of acid and a smooth melody line. Patrice Bäumel adds a delicious re-work built around a superb bass melody that builds to a crescendo, as layer-upon-layer reveals itself throughout. Dahl links with Dance Spirit for ‘Manic Space’, led by a delicate layer of tribal drums and a meandering melody line, crafted for sundown moments. ‘Universe Within You’ is one for the after hours, wrapped in a minimal shell it unfurls gradually into a glowing late morning house gem, resplendent in golden synths and groovy drums.
