I’m a DJ from Ghent who plays a wide range of soulful music from across the decades and time zones – from the electric to the organic and all in-between. From beats to bossa, hip-hop to house, it’s a mixed bag that’s always diverse, and never mainstream. Aside from playing in my home country and organising my Chunks Of Funk events, I’ve also played in Paris, Warsaw, Sheffield, Amsterdam and more. I played alongside Dam-Funk, Max Graef, Kutmah, Lefto and I have had the honour of playing on several occasions at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Festivals.

Oubys produces sounds that physically affect your synapses. His music, merging sequences with synaptic patterns, explores the melody of the subconsciousness.
Oubys transports the listener to the furthest regions of the micro and macrocosmos. 

Sense of time and timing continuously bulges, expanding the listeners horizon, driven by an unknown dark energetic halo. What energy that it might be, Oubys’s progressive pulsations and ultra sub bass manifestations create the utmost frequency level of your resonating body.

The fluctuating atmosphere of his tracks is both contemplative and meditative, inviting listeners to dive deep into a parallel state of consciousness.

Oubys has released several albums and EPs, has played at both underground and major festivals such as Meakusma and Nuits Sonores and has recently collaborated on a SF short animated film soundtrack called Drifter.

Steve Bird AKA Mr Bird is a musician, producer & DJ, based in Lisbon, Portugal, for 15 years now. Mr Bird has released 4 albums and many other digital releases, including the album 'Low-Fi Classics' which was released by BBE Music in July 2014. A collaboration with singer Greg Blackman, it received strong support from radio and DJs worldwide, including Craig Charles on his Funk and Soul Show, and tracks from the album have recently been remixed by Tom Moulton and Ashley Beedle and released on vinyl with the Ramrock Blue label.


In 2013, he released the 3rd Mr Bird LP, imaginatively titled "Bird Bird Bird" on the Vital Force label. He also released two 7" singles on Resense Records and Lisboa Records with Portuguese producer Dedy Dread, as well as 5 vinyl releases on the Heavy Duty Booty label and several digital releases on his own 'Fat Bird Sounds' label.


in 2001 & 2007 Mr Bird released 2 instrumental hip-hop albums on the Brighton based labels 'Hertz Recordings' and 'Frequent Soundz.'

Back in 2001 he was invited to record a session for DJ John Peel at the BBC Maida Vale Studios, which was broadcast twice in 2002.
Mr Bird is currently in demand as a re-mixer, having remixed over 100 artists & bands including Daytoner, Karthala 72, Lee Fields, Dalindeo, Renegades of Jazz, Captain Planet, Savages, Odyssey and many more. He is currently working on several new musical projects, singers & collaborators world-wide.

Born in 1974 and raised in Egion where he started working as a dj at the age of fourteen.
In parallel to djing, he delves into production as an artist and co founder of Cast-a-Blast in 2006. Along with Blend Mishkin he forms the duet Palov and Mishkin, launching the compilation “Backslam Extravaganza” (2007). They then went on to release the widely praised album “Think Twice” (2009) while at the same time remixing and editing for highly acclaimed labels such as G.A.M.M., Rebtuz,  Resense, Bastard Jazz, Tru Thoughts ,Love Monk etc.
Since then Palov went on to release his debut solo “Whats That” revealing the smooth musicianship between him and the guitarist player Angelos Angelides. Within as well outside the framework of this partnership he forged production and remixing collaborations with several artists including Caro Emerald , Mo’ Horizons, Lady Faye ,Maraveyas Illegal, Daniela Bolano, Kill Emil and BNC.Nowdays he’s collaborating with Panama Cardoon and together they’re running a label called Carnibal.
Actively djing all this time he has shared the decks with well known djs/producers like Quantic, Andy Smith, Bonobo, Nickodemus ,Lack of Afro ,Florian Keller, Jon Kennedy ,Henry Storch ,Ben Lamdin ,7Samurai, Herbaliser ,Tm Juke , Mo’Horizons , Rob Luis  to name a few.

The dance orientated sound of British musician, producer and DJ Will “Quantic” Holland has enchanted fans and tastemakers across the world for nearly two decades.
