Sofia Mantoudi was born in Athens – Greece on January 1979. 

It was early 90's the first time she listened to Goa Trance music and immediately decided to get involved more in the trance scene.

After Fashion Design studies at one of the best colleges in Greece Pan Sik (Bolognia - Italy based college)
and many years of explorations on psy trance, she achieved the opportunity to perform for first time as a dj in 2002 along with Neuromotor and Sam
from Acidance records in Athens.

Sofia became recognizable after her successful releases on Discovalley Rec and Insomnia Rec co-produced with a legend himself “Kindzadza”.
MENTAL CRUELTY was the platform for known bands/producers established by Sofia in 2005 for a couple of years. Experience on label management gave her a better 
perception and new visions.

Her unique mixing skills and synaesthesiac track selections was the reason that her DJ sets were on highly demand from many event/fest organizers & promoters 
around the world and this led her for searching all the time the freshest and more intelligent music to fulfill her sets. 

These days as an official DJ for GoanMantra & Agartha Records, she believes that now its the time to experiment and select the most 
mind blowing music that is produced around the world, to induce the best inner & xtatic experiences to our sacred dancefloor.

SofiaX blasted many Dancefloors like 
Dubai,New York,India,Italy,Poland,Germany,Belgium,Portugal,Israel,Cyprus,Bulgaria ,Russia & Spain

SofiaX is always open to new ideas and experimentation but her goal is to release first class psychedelic music for the body, mind & soul.
