Born in Guatemala, grew up with music. 

He moved to Zürich, Switzerland. Living there since 2013 where he discovers a very wide and open Electro Music Scene.

Son of a professional Latin Jazz Guitarist and brother of a professional Marimba player (Guatemala's national instrument).

Influenced by Rock, Jazz, Latin Rhythms, Bossa Nova and different musical genres that make him a musically open person. In his youth he starts playing the guitar and discovers an immense passion for electronic music even though it is not very popular in his native country. 

Little by little he collects different Cd's and little by little his passion for electronic music intensifies as well as Rock, his second passion.

Apart from working in finance and full of motivation and desire to try new things, he starts his DJ career in February 2023 as a hobby that makes him completely happy and makes him feel an intense and pure love for the musical world. In the same way he takes up the guitar again and starts with some percussion with many visions and ideas in his head that he plans to make reality in the not too distant future.

With roots from North Africa, lover of art, sports and nature in all its expressions, spiritual being makes a mix of organic house, afro house, melodic house & techno as some examples. Believer that music allows us to travel through time and different stages of life, believer that music transforms us and fills us with many emotions.

Butch: A DJ’s DJ, A Producer’s Producer, A Electronic Music Chameleon

Some DJs chase trends. Butch sets them. With two decades in electronic music, he moves effortlessly between house, techno, and everything in between. From closing Circoloco at DC-10 to extended sets at Robert Johnson, his sound is always evolving.

Born in Mainz with Turkish roots, Butch hustled his way into the scene, earning multiple Best Producer awards and working with legends like Ricardo Villalobos, Armand van Helden, Cassius, Maceo Plex, and Keinemusik. His releases on Innervisions, Running Back, Defected, Rekids, Diynamic, and Cuttin’ Headz have shaped the underground.

2025 is set to be massive, with his remix of Duck Sauce’s “Falling In Love” already dominating dancefloors and more releases on the way. Butch doesn’t follow rules—he just makes music that moves people.

The Parisian DJ and producer, began his journey into the world of music learning the sounds of the Steel pan, which laid the foundation for his eclectic taste and artistic exploration. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Toumani Diabate, Telepopmusik, and Caetano Veloso, Rafaël embraced a diverse range of influences that shaped his creative path.

Amidst the backdrop of his artistic explorations, Rafa encountered the allure of House Music, which would shape his creative path. With a series of remarkable collaborations with esteemed labels like Subliminal, Strickly Rhythm, Freak’N’Chic, and Crosstown Rebels, establishing himself as a rising star on the Parisian electronic stage, Rafaël thrilled audiences as the founder of the "We are Family" projects. Today, his musical expressions are artfully influenced by renowned artists like Stimming, Martin Buttrich, Rampa, Cioz, Sebastien Leger, and many others.

Even during a hiatus, Rafa remained committed to creating music. Venturing beyond the confines of a traditional artist, he embraced the role of event producer with "Origin," the most esteemed brand in Nicaragua's Electronic Music Industry.

Lately, Rafaël has been taking his electrifying performances to festivals and clubs worldwide, leaving his mark in Bolivia, Paris, and Ibiza. Currently, he is immersed in creating his latest track in collaboration with Yemanja Records, continuing his musical odyssey.
