Jean Claude Ades kick starts the summer season on his Be Crazy Music imprint with a brand new two track release entitled “Appassionata / Ordinary Day”. The Ibiza based dj and producer is world renowned for his unique style of deep tech-house music and his strong connection to the dancefloor. Both tracks stay true to Jean Claude’s winning formula with infectious percussive elements, warm basslines and truly blissful musical sections. 

Starting off with the sleek and driving “Appassionata” composition. An indulging arpeggiated, moog-ish pattern builds the base for some magical layers of strings and keys! A precise kick drum and craft fully compressed low frequencies keep things moving below.

Jean Claude Ades delivers instant high season energy with “Ordinary Day”, which features Sterea’s spectacular vocals. Fluid percussions and powerful drum loops flow neatly alongside howling pads and synthesised strings. The well positioned, epic break downs seal the deal.

Sol Selectas is a label famed for its unique sound fusing ambient textures with melodic grooves and rhythmic melodies inspired by ancient folk law.

The label's new release welcomes Turkish artist Ali Kuru who recently featured as part of Sol Selectas recent Summer Sol III compilation, but now returns for a solo EP also featuring a stunning remix from the iconic Satori.

Ali Kuru has also featured on labels such as Exotic Refreshment, Underyourskin, 8Bit and Leng Records, building up a global reputation for being an ambassador of the Turkish electronic music scene, whose innovative approach has helped inspire the country's growing club culture.

Satori needs little introduction within the world of low slung melodic music as within the genre he has helped define the style that so many others draw influence from. Known especially for his remix skills, he has reworked people ranging from Acid Pauli to Damian Lazarus, and this is another fine example of his exceptional talents.

"Mazlum" opens the EP with an expertly produced sound combining Middle Eastern instruments with synthetic sounds and a skilful blend that’s neither too raw or overly polished. Keeping the earthy sound of the instruments, the sequenced percussion adds DJ friendly rhythms perfect for a packed nightclub dance floor.

Satori provides the second track with his remix of “Mazlum” which is set to rival the success of his previous Sol Selectas remix which is widely considered a classic of the genre. Focusing on the Middle Eastern elements, he reinforces the kick drum making for an imaginative rework that paints sonic pictures of Arabic landscapes.

Third of the tracks is “Donuk” with a chugging groove, vibrant percussion and long cello notes amidst an array of bending synths and vocal textures. An epic journey of spiritual transformation, this exquisite track takes on many forms with its enlightening aura of discovery.

The artwork by Helia Jamali takes us deep into a mystical valley of cosmic delights, eclipsed totalities, and outer-dimensional dualities, where your primal emotions rise up to the surface, and guide your path.
