It’s been one memorable year for Melbourne/Naarm groove master Joey Coco. With the release of the club heater ‘Valentino’ with the formidable Jason Hodges and local legend Emerson Alexander, an Australian tour and a slew of stellar headline shows there’s no signs of slowing down. 

He’s back once again with an edit pack offering entitled ‘Hymns for the Hustlers’. Featuring three tracks with the same undeniable groove, energy and class that he is known for, the edit pack offers a treat for listeners in the club or on the move. From the bossa nova laced ‘Lit As Well’, to the new jack swing flavour of ‘Meander’, the edit pack finishes off with the groove of ‘Privvy’ with a humble nod to one of his favourite Southern rap groups.

Overflowing with 17 tracks, this release is a snapshot of the unique energy that thrives on dancefloors, where boundary-pushing sounds come to life. It’s stacked with club-ready bangers and euphoric anthems from the Weaver family and friends. Whether you’re warming up the crowd, peaking at midnight, or deep in the after-hours, there’s something here for every moment. This release isn't just a showcase of talent; it's a celebration of the collective spirit that drives underground music forward.

Expect bass-driven breaks from Ekzander, Sniper1, Monfreaq and Subsism, as well as Wretla’s euphoria-inducing garage. Pacey tech from Simrana and AWHM, with DJ Huntsman taking the hypnotic tip. BADEO, Basscamp, suki, Jeku and Anderson keep the flow grooving with their prog house and minimal percussion, while Desire, Lex, Cybernet and Azo provide the high energy peak-time delicacies.

The digital-only release arrives on Bandcamp and streaming platforms October 17th.

50% of profits from the release will be split evenly between Pay The Rent (Australia) and the MA’AN Development Centre (Gaza).
