I listen to all types of music, but this account on soundcloud will consist of hip-hop/rap and electronic sounds (edm), apple music will be listed on the instagram linked accounts for other genres in the music world. I have created tons of playlists on here for you all to enjoy, i do the research and you do the listening! I also am active on reposting and liking others tracks when i am not banned for doing it all the time (expect the likes/repost to occur every 9-12 days after one round of 100 tracks is completed). Also the "Add playlists" are going to be the new tracks i discover & the "On The Go" playlist will be the tracks i like the most out of the new ones i listen too. Enjoy & have a great day!

Nobbing on the foward motion of breakbeats you begin to understand Tiggnacious beginnings of future records many of which were born of San Francisco and surrounding cities...Hardkiss Bros..Wicked Crew....Hawke...then deeper yet to enjoy Rabbit in the Moon....Bringing Drum and Bass into the fold, my favorite, we revert into oblivion minding the the sacred past with respect to old school cats of Rap funky legends Eric B. and Rakim{Paid in Full} and other suprises to encounter....Keep the BASS UP....And get Tiggitty in your Brain......Sorry for the breaks in the mix I need to polish those out and will someday.....all mixes recorded live, no practice of set, just a lot of collecting listening, and recently in the last 9 months understanding a bit about the Denon DJ Prime 4....Having fun...Dreaming in Sounds.... Volume Unit is a solo bass music producer and engineer from Buffalo, NY. He grew up playing the drums starting out at the ripe age of 5 and from there transitioned into bands, getting some experience and knowledge around DAWs which would be the origination of the roots that would grow into the Volume Unit project. He has a keen ear for rhythm and groove, and moves with intention to bring you his masterful sound and harmonious flow with every performance, release, and piece of content that he puts out to the world.

He has fast made a place for himself in the underground music scene, with notable releases such as 'The Jungle' receiving support from artists the likes of Excision, Subtronics, Luzcid & many others. He has also ventured into the festival circuit having played such events as Firelights, Evolutions, & Paradise in 2024 & 2025

With roots of Trap, Dubstep, Left-field, Dnb, Bass House & other various genres; pushing boundaries, and packing energy; his wicked bass rhythms and juicy distorted low end are not to be missed

He brings a new energy to the dancefloor, playing what most artists would not, going where DJs don't often go. He is not afraid to showcase to the world the magical sounds that the undercard music scene has to offer

Coming prepared with an endless stack of original music to every show as well as high energy releases from his friends and the people that inspire him most, you can always expect the Volume to go up when the Unit is in the building.

Having played multiple headlining events in his hometown & throughout the states as well as playing direct support for artists such as Peekaboo, Super Future, Luzcid, Sully, Dirt Monkey, Meso, ShwiLLy & many others, Volume Unit is well seasoned in his tastes and knows exactly what to bring to get his crowd moving and grooving.
