After a great reception to his two tracks on the first Prospekt EP, Gary Burrows has graduated to his debut solo release, with the rave-referencing “All Your Dreams”. Combining a classic oldskool vocal and stab combo with a no-nonsense 130bpm backing, this track has it all. 
Yan Oxygen winds things back a notch on his remix, juggling the stab pattern and hyping up the melodic aspects.
To complete the release, Gary takes things darker on “Koda”. With pummelling, overdriven drums and eerie spoken vocals, this is one for the harder floors!

'EI8HT is back in 2020, opening up with a killer 4 track EP from Italian artist The Southern. The imprint which was set up by Eats Everything and Andres Campo in 2019 has steadily built up a solid reputation with its releases from Truncate, Avision, Drumcomplex and Andres himself.

The Southern hails from Matera in the South Of Italy, and has focused his productions for labels including Tronic, Odd Recordings and Doppelgaenger. This EP as 4 original tracks, opening with title track ‘Raw Culture’ with its kettle kick drums, crisp hats and a tribal rhythm. 

‘Tree Of Life’ takes things soulful and deeper, whilst ‘Interference’ had Morse code like sonics which create a powerful groove. Its more relentless and energetic, with a beat that gets your feet stomping

Closing out the EP with some dark late-night vibes, is ‘Tuned’. Grimey bass stabs and scattergun percussions are joined by eerie sonics which takes the track into a surprising new direction.'

Raffaele Rizzi is a brilliant example of the inexhaustible source of talents that the Partenopean capital continues to give to the world of electronic music for over twenty years. Despite his young age, Raffaele has an extended and variegated discography including releases on labels such as: Rino Cerrone’s Loose Records and Unrilis, Markantonio’s Analytictrail, Mauro Picotto’s Alchemy, Stefano Noferini’s Deeperfect, 2000 and One’s 100% Pure Records and Bitten, and Christian Smith’s Tronic and more.
Born and raised in Naples, he began studying piano at the early age of ten, firstly as self-taught and then under the expert guidance of teachers from the Musical Studies Center of his city. Mostly thanks to his infinite passion for music and the open-minded culture, seduced by the idea of ​​being able to create a sound by increasing or decreasing the pitch on the turntable. At the age of 15 he was seduced by electronic music and its repetitive although changing rhythms. Influenced by the music of Gabriel Ananda and Rino Cerrone, musicians like him that find inspiration for their tracks looking beyond the classical schemes, Raffaele is dedicated in developing its own musical identity within the techno trend, distinguished by dark, raw and thunderous sounds.
Quintessence of the contemporary electronic, techno music becomes for Raffaele the perfect tool with which to conquer freedom of expression, unexpected perspective from which to observe and analyze his artistic present and future. Over the years his sound goes from a techno with peculiar but elegant minimalist touches to more acoustic sounds characterized by deviant bass vibrations and connections of synths.
Although still very young, considering the explosive succession of musical productions and the constant participation of the artist in the events, both in Italy and abroad, the contribution of Raffaele Rizzi to "Neapolitan Techno" is to be considered decisive. His sound, composed by a refined union of Berlin Techno with marked Dub clues, has already collected the grace of top caliber artists like Adam Beyer, Alan Fitzpatrick, Cristian Smith, Joseph Capriati and Richie Hawtin, creating him a respectful spot among the names of the new age parthenopean techno.
