Ben Slavin is an American folksinger who has been living in Italy for almost twenty years. He graduated in voice(opera) from Arizona State University and soon after moved to Milan to continue his studies as a dramatic baritone. While he was in Milan he met Odette Di Maio (ex-frontwoman on the group “Soon”) and formed the folk-pop duo “The March”. After recording an EP "The March" toured around Europe and the US performing in more than 100 venues including the CBGB and at the prestigious Arezzo Wave Festival in Tuscany. They also appeared on various radio programs like “The Joey Reynolds Show” (with 8 million listeners) and for the famous critic Larry Flick  (Billboard,Rolling Stone) on Sirius Radio.  In 2014 he released his first solo album "Palepolis" with Apogeo Records which was recorded inside of a 17th Century Basilica in Naples, Italy. The album received overwhelmingly positive reviews by both the Italian and international press. He was featured on the segment "Music and the City" for the national Italian TV network Rai 3 as well as on  the RAI national radio program "Zazà".

His new album "The Pines" was recorded between Naples and Verona together with producer and poly instrumentalist Andrea Faccioli (Baustelle, Luci della Centrale Elettrica,Cisco). The album is a song cycle about  growing up in the isolated Pine Barrens of Southern New Jersey and the long process of trying to adapt and integrate into his adopted country. Throughout the album various traditional American folk instruments (many of which are used in the traditional folk music of the Pine Barrens) are interspersed throughout the songs while maintaining a uniquely mediterranean flavour. "The Pines" is ultimately a journey through two nations of stark contrasts and finding redemption through nostalgia and acceptance.

Andrea Faccioli is a musician from Verona, Italy.

He is currently the guitarist for one of Italy's most famous bands "Baustelle" and collaborates with some of Italy's most popular indie singer-songwriters such as "Luce della Centrale Elettrica" and "Cisco".  He has participated in various projects that range from experimental rock to folk including Å, Julie's Haircut, Andrea Belfi and Veronica Marchi. He has also produced and arranged three albums with his soloist project "Cabeki" (Tannen Records/Brutture Moderne/Audioglobe). 



All songs by Ben Slavin (with the exception of "Tosti Songs and Art Noveau" by Slavin/Faccioli and the lyrics to "Lemon Biscuit Tin" by Shannon McGill and "Cetara" by Odette Di Maio)as well as acoustic guitar, banjo, ukelele and leading vocals.

Ila è una cantautrice genovese (di adozione lombarda dal 2000) con diversi dischi, ep e collaborazioni all'attivo.
Dopo un percorso da solista, che la porta a condividere il palco con Nitin Sawhney, Ayo, Cristina Donà, Daniele Silvestri, Davide Van De Sfroos, Dolcenera (ecc) trova finalmente i musicisti giusti per lei e per la sua musica e nascono così Ila & The Happy Trees, che sono Teo Marchese (batteria, percussioni), Lorenzo Fugazza (chitarra acustica, banjo, ukulele) e Paolo Legramandi (basso, cori).

Con questa formazione, tra il 2009 e il 2013,  Ila pubblica tre Album e tre Ep, dal tenore "agriPop", un folk/pop dalle sonorità delicate, acustiche, spensierate, un filo di perle colorate. 
Nel 2014 pubblica “Ila and Her Fellows”, un album di reinterpretazioni di brani tradizionali di matrice spiritual, folk blues e old country in compagnia di 16 musicisti provenienti dai più svariati background (Robi Zonca, Veronica Sbergia, Marco Grompi...).

Il 29 Settembre 2015 uscirà “Le scarpe rosse”, un nuovo album in cui la band ha l'intenzione di fare un passo in avanti nello studio delle proprie sonorità, confermando l'intenzione di Ila di continuare a comporre sia in inglese che in italiano.

Recall Madame X is a retrowave musical and visual project, with a cinematic and oneiric feel: its sound is dark vintage-analog, created with Groovebox, Moog and modified electronics. The sounds are evocative, constantly distorted bass meets ailing synths.
The structures are lysergic: rhythms range from electroacoustic to tribal; harmonies are complex and orchestral, rich in white vocal harmonizations, nostalgic lullabies in theatrical dissonances.
The project was born with Alessandro De Benedetti (musician, designer, illustrator) and Andrea Zuccotti (author, multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer). Both were rescued in their restless adolescence by the spooky music and lyrics of the Banshees and Joy Division, and they began composing decadent post punk songs with the help of a tr707 and an out-of-tune acoustic guitar.
