Raffi is the resident DJ and co-founder of Loop, a collective best known for their Soundwaves boat parties in Washington, DC. 

At the age of 12, Raffi’s aunt gifted him with turntables and a mixer. Growing up in an Armenian household in Baltimore with a constant appetite for dancing and music, he always had an audience to play for. His first club gig was at the age of 19, and since then, he’s played at prominent venues and parties in DC, such as Flash, Eighteenth Street Lounge, Deep Secrets, Sundays Rooftop, and U Street Music Hall. Raffi believes that it’s not about the destination, but the journey along the way, and that’s reflected in his mood-building and vibe-setting DJ sets.
