I've had a passion for music since I was a child, but I wasn't really trained, so I chose a different career path. Nevertheless, at some point I decided to take the ongoing creative pressure within me seriously, even if I can't deliver a professional performance.
Maybe one or two songs will resonate or encourage you to express yourself musically.

Seit Kindheit habe ich eine Leidenschaft für die Musik, aber nicht so richtig ausgebildet, deshalb auch beruflich anderen Weg gewählt. I am a finger-style guitarist living on the Texas high plains.  At the core of my music is melody that is inspired and informed by my Christian faith, family, friends, and countless influences through the years from the great composers, to jazz, folk, rock, Latin, Celtic, and the many fine musicians I have come to love on the Cloud, some I have been privileged to collaborate with. Tengo estudios de armonía, contrapunto, fuga, composición, arreglos musicales y además he sido profesor de Estética, Historia de la Música, de la Cultura y del Arte en los conservatorios de Tudela y Tarazona (España)

Mis canciones las han cantado artistas de la talla de Luana Ruff, Sebastian, Jesús Lainez,  Manuel Palomino, Joelblesseddd,  Paco Cuenca, Mara Oldfield, Dazz Deva, Ana López Lorente o Carmen París y trabajo con grandes profesionales como el pianista José María Berdejo, el saxo Maiker Rivero, el guitarrista Nacho Abril, el chelista Pablo Baleta y el ingeniero de sonido Juan Miguel Sánchez en el estudio de grabación SIN/CON/PASIONES.

También he compuesto música para videos y documentales, fugas, invenciones, imitaciones canónicas, música modal etc.

Actually I am a piano-musician by profession, but I discovered the huge possibilities of music designing with a computer.  I like to compose in very different styles like classical, pop, filmmusic, hardrock, synth rock, jazz, tango, etc. I hope you'll enjoy it and I do appreciate practical, and especially serious criticism as well.

My name is Michael Gogol and I come from the Celle district near Hanover. I've been making music since I was 10 years old. I started at that age with a Bontempi organ that I wanted for Christmas in 1974. Incidentally, I was interested in playing the harmonica in my youth.

By chance, when I was 14, I met the well-known German pioneer of electronic music, Klaus Schulze, also known for the Alphaville group, who was living in our village at the time. I interviewed Klaus Schulze with my friend for a school presentation and we received a full-day private demonstration from him. Since then I couldn't get away from it and became interested in synthesizers myself.

I bought my first synthesizer in 1980 with the first money I saved from my apprenticeship. After that, my money gradually went to new hardware. Mostly it was a back and forth between my musical friends. 40 years later I'm still at it. At the end of 2019 I switched my music studio to software. I mainly create synth pop tracks using analog synths from the 80's and 90's and bring them up to current 2020's level.Follow me and thanks for listening. Thanks 🧡
