Ragastep.
A raga (Sanskrit rāga राग, literally "colour, hue" but also "beauty, harmony, melody"; also spelled raag, rag, ragam) is one of the melodic modes used in Indian classical music.
It is a series of five or more musical notes upon which a melody is made. In the Indian musical tradition, rāgas are associated with different times of the day, or with seasons. Indian classical music is always set in a rāga. Non-classical music such as popular Indian film songs or ghazals sometimes use rāgas in their compositions.
Dubstep is a genre of electronic dance music, originating from London, UK. Its overall sound has been described as "tightly coiled productions with overwhelming bass lines and reverberant drum patterns, clipped samples, and occasional vocals".

We're not claiming to be another dubstep project (we don't even have any proper dubstep tracks) nor do we have much understanding of raga.
Arjuna had his favorite ragas and Keshava was sitting at the computer anyway.

Musician, designer, composer, inventor and spiritualist. My music is inspired spiritually and musically. In youth I played Bach, funk, jazz and reggae. I played in nylon string guitar duo which I warmly remember. I studied indian Ragas for some time and listen to Indian classical music for some years. Performed with tabla and recorded demo of our duo (vinar+tabla). I was always involved in kirtan projects and informal chanting in groups. I have developed mix between guitar and Indian vina / sitar (see: www.vidyafusion.com). I have two projects going, instrumental & vocal. I have started singing in 2005. Most material here is demo. I hold the view that music is an expression of the soul and heart, and not so much of  intellect and technic. True music comes from silence, point of inner focus. 

I was a monk for 12 years living in India (Mayaur, West Bengal) and in Europe. I live now in Canada but looking elsewhere. I have a faithful and loving wife and smart son and very talented beautiful daughter. We want to live in uplifting environment with uplifting people. We think there is a deeper meaning to music and art in general - more lasting.
