Parev (Armenian greetings), and as-salā mu'laykum (peace be upon you in Arabic), my friends. Did you know there are around 300 languages spoken here in Australia? Imagine how much richer our lives would be if we embraced that diversity that is all around us! 

Now, let's get real for a moment, we are all adults here.... There is a word being thrown around a lot these days I have to talk to you about. This word is "genocide". And it is less than 100 years old... This word was created to describe the Jewish Holocaust, and the 1915 Armenian genocide, where 1.5 million of my people, along with almost 2 million Greeks and Assyrians were wiped off the face of the earth. Less than a year ago, the entire Armenian population of Artsakh was also ethnically cleansed from their homeland of 7000 years. And as we stand here today, there are 2 million Palestinians who are displaced and also without a safe space to call home.

But you know what? Tonight, We're all here together, we are at Home the mother fucking venue !!!! So Tonight, Let's honor those who've have lost their homes, let us come together in solidarity. 

I have named this MIX Home Cooked 🇦🇲 / Welcome Home 🇵🇸!  I dedicate this to my motherland Armenia, to my Palestinian family here today, and to all oppressed and persecuted people in the world!

quick rant about my set if anyone cares just bc i wanna talk about it:

* had to start from my roots with the kingdom hearts edit
* had to include some asian pop for the representation, been bumping newjeans and babymint recently they're both actually so good
* shoutouts to jonah/equatorau for the cali gurls x still here mashup always goes off
* speeding up to dnb was such a fun moment especially with a remix
* absolutely adored the krewella remix of alone together ever since i was a kid, so glad i could include that one
* darren styles is a guilty pleasure, us against the world is just sooo good
* how damn good is noisia?
* japanese rhythm game producers are on a different level

* camellia's remix of bad apple is one of my favourite songs ever. it goes so insanely hard especially the first buildup. also the last psytrance drop samples the original intro of bad apple, it's just so cool
