After hearing J Fitz feature on Odd Chap's "Follow Me," Emma instantly knew that this was a collaboration that just had to happen, and here it is! Their song "Broken Door" is all about the troubles relationships can face, but like all Emma's songs, they always have a positive outcome.  

Broken Door is a beautifully sounding pop banger with crisp hip hop beats and a funky bassline.  The smooth vocals of Emma Lea & J Fitz sitting sweet on a lush bed of jazzy instrumentation.   With Odd Chap's notorious production skills, combined with the undeniable soulful delights and thought provoking lyrics from both Emma Lea and J Fitz, this is an indestructible ear worm that will spin around your brain for days!

About Emma Lea: Emma Lea is an accomplished writer and artist, having had many appearances including a release on Hed Kandi, being on the Radio One playlist and being featured as Pete Tong's song of the week, amongst many other labels. In 2017 Emma discovered the world of Electro Swing and has never looked back since. 

About Odd Chap: Hailing from New Zealand, Odd Chap has been making huge waves since he rolled onto the Electro Swing scene in 2015, and with releases on Freshly Squeezed and Electro Swing Thing notching up millions of plays on Spotify, he has no plans on slowing down anytime soon.

About J Fitz: Irish vocalist & writer Richard Farrell, known as J Fitz, has been a rising name in the Electro Swing scene recently and is now hot property with collab requests coming from producers all around the globe.

The Kitchen of Tomorrow is an infectiously fun Jazz beat from The Fritz that features a rolling piano loop, crisp percussion, and silky-smooth scratch cuts.

Inspired by Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz series, The Kitchen of Tomorrow is similar in style to DJ Food, Paul Nice, or early Mr Scruff. This latest release from Fritz, who hails from Devon, is the perfect addition to a Jazzy hip-hop mixtape, a cafe Jazz playlist, or a chilled-out festival opening set. 

On the b-side is I'm Going Crazy, a country and western inspired Jazz beat featuring some iconic vocals, clever sample chops, and Fritz's iconic golden-era soundscape.

The Fritz - The Kitchen of Tomorrow

Stuck Up There is the latest instalment in The Fritz's exploration through  obscure jazz records and 1960s sci-fi. With a melancholy sample, the tune tells the story of a group of astronauts who are unable to get home after their  spaceship breaks down on the Moon.  
As the vocal sings 'misery, you've got to go', the astronauts look back at Earth  and lament that they'll never be able to describe the beauty of the view to  anyone back home.  
Coupled with Fritz's unique drum sound and crisp production, this latest  release form Ragtime Records is surely destined to get Stuck Up There after  you've played it through your headphones.
