Kent based House & Techno DJ Jon Blackman felt a strong desire to be a DJ after falling in love with the skills of both DJ Hype and DJ EZ back in 2000. 

After being fan of drum and bass and garage music John was taken by surprise when he started to hear house music and the way it made him feel. It wasn’t until 2006 that he realised how much fun he had when partying to bouncing filthy beats alongside the heavy bass of dirty electro house to a solid crowd at Pulse in Kent. 

The music worked and the night is still remembered until this day as a classic time for locals in the area who were new to the house scene. 

Since then John progressed onto bigger things playing at London's club Hidden in 2008 for Club Trinity,they then booked him for every Wednesday for the whole summer season of 2009 in Kavos, Greece. Alongside this he got a residency for Funkin Serious at Furture Atlantis alongside Dave Peacre.  

Moving on from Funky and Electro House he has developed a mixture of sound that is energetic, upbeat, underground, vocal, groovy and melodic within the ranges of House & Techno. From 2012 to date he has received opportunity’s to play at Mojo’s, Chatham, Source, Maidstone, Egg & Cargo in London where his style has seen him get regular gigs year in year out.
