Taylor Swift's eleventh studio album, "The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology," surprised fans with its double album format upon release in April 2024. Originally announced as a single album, it came bundled with a surprise second volume titled "The Anthology," bringing the total song count to 31. The album explores synth-pop and folk-pop sounds with rock and country influences.  The mostly midtempo tracks feature a blend of synthesizers, drum machines, piano, and guitars. Collaborations include rapper Post Malone on the lead single "Fortnight" and the band Florence and the Machine on "Florida!!!." Described as a creative outlet and her "lifeline" album, Swift reportedly conceived it during her Eras Tour and used it to fully express her songwriting ideas. The release cleverly coincided with National Poetry Month in April 2024.

the story behind the song: two girls are best friends and I guess the 'main character' of this song has unrequited feelings for her best friend. her best friend is unconfident in herself and stresses over not being in a relationship. the main girl wants to be like 'well im your perfect match' but her friend is dang straight as a line. and thus concludes that story, haha.
