Nikhil Beats is an up-and-coming artist-producer hailing from East London who is carving out his own British-Asian sound. Having produced two of the five-track Third Eye EP by singer-songwriter, Safiyyah and one track off West London’s finest, Finn Foxell’s Talk is Cheap EP, the producer seamlessly blends R&B and hip-hop whilst merging drum and bass into the mix on “Notting Dale”. Both EP’s have since gone on to earn a spot on BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Jamz Supanova’s Top 5 EP’s. And Nikhil Beats is just getting started.
East meets West in his hybrid music style, which blends the artist’s Indian heritage with a modern sonic palette heavily influenced by London’s flourishing underground music scene; his sound cannot be put into one box. His multi-instrumentalist approach to his music often takes the listener on an unexpected journey, characterised by soulful melodies and surprise beat drops, which you can expect to hear in his upcoming EP, 3000 Realms, dropping in autumn 2020.
