This poem in praise of The Prophet, Allah bless him and give him peace, is one of my favourites.  This past Thursday (October 6th, 2011), we sang it again at SeekersHub Toronto, in an East African style.

NaderKhan: The Muhammadan Ode ("Qasida Muhammadiya") in an East African style

This is an album of Qasidah or Islamic poetry and songs, recorded by the Singapore Haqqani Ensemble. The ensemble is made up of 15 people who are seekers in the Path of Allah, belonging to the Naqshbandi Sufi Order. They hope that through these songs, they will inspire people to seek the path towards Allah, and to love Allah and His Beloved Messenger, Sayyidina Muhammad, salallahu alaihi wasallam, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad.
