Shyboy Jay, known musically as Kage the Alien, is a versatile creator who bends sound to reflect every side of his world. Rooted in rock and pop but never limited by boundaries, his music moves effortlessly through hip hop, drill, R & B , Neo soul, rap,afrobeats, and dance — embodying the spirit of a true chameleon. With a vocal range as wide as his influences, he can shift from raw street energy to melodic storytelling, blending cultures and genres into something both familiar and unpredictable. His artistry carries the depth of lived experience, the fire of New York grit, and the vision of someone who builds bridges between worlds.

Tariq Michael Shane Ifield (3-29-1994), Better Known By His Stage Name 'TY Gunna' Is An American Underground Rap Artist Born And Raised In The Bronx, NY. Beginning Rapping In Early 2003, Tariq Has Been Dipping And Dabbing With The Music After His First Session With His First Uncle, Bless Williams, At The Age Of 7. In 2008, While Ifield Was In Middle School, 7th Grade To Be Exact, He Started Rapping For Fun , Entertaining His Family And Friends Along The Way. In 2011 In His Tenure At KIPP NYC College Prep , Ifield Organized A Rap Crew And Called It 'The Firm Squad'. Although The Original Firm Squad Was Discovered By Ifield In KIPP Infinity Middle School In 2008-2009, The Official First Class (Although 2nd Class) Was Officially Put Together In 2010-2011. Consisting Of 3 Members, Ifield And Firm Squad Became More Known Throughout KIPP High As He And The Team Spent Most Of Their Time Rapping In Public Places Of The School Such As The Cafeteria And Football Field (KIPP NYC's Tenure In BX). Although Ifield Considered Creating a Mixtape With The Firm Squad , It Never Came To Fruition. This Is Mostly Due To Ifield Getting Into Constant Trouble At The School. Ifield's Tenure At KIPP NYC Was Only 4-6 Months. He Was Expelled For Smoking Marijuana In The Boy's Bathroom Along With Friends Including Individuals Who Were Set To Be Implemented To The Firm Squad Group. In Early 2012 , After Ifield Was Expelled From KIPP NYC College Prep, He Transferred To Celia Cruz Bronx High School Of Music. Ifield's Older Brother, Trevor Williams , Had Already Been Attending The School For About 4 Years And Was Set To Graduate. Williams' Popularity At The School Was Solidified In His Own Right. He Was Well Loved By Everyone At The School. This Didn't Mean That Ifield's Addition To The School Would Be An Easy Pass From Other Juniors And Seniors At The School. Ifield Immediately Gained Attention As He Rapped The Entire Lunch Period During His FIRST Day At The School. Celia Cruz Was It's Own School , But Shared The Building With Three Other High Schools Including DISCOVERY & T & P. This Also Meant That During Certain Lunch Periods, The Schools Would Share The Cafeteria. Students From Each High School Were In Attendance While Ifield Was Discovered. This Added To His Immediate Gain In Popularity. Several Weeks After This Event , Ifield Met a Few Young Rappers Who Were Freshmen The Following Semester. Ifield Admired Their Hunger And Ambition To Rap And To Rap Full Time. With That Being Said , Ifield Rebanded The Firm Squad And This Became The Official Second Class (Although Technically Third Class) Of Firm Squad. 


Ifield And The Squad Became Popular Just As He And His Previous Firm Squad Did. Rapping At Lunch , In The Gym, In The School Yard , On The Train After School; Firm Squad Was Once Again On Top Of The School's Chain. In 2012 , Ifield And Firm Squad Began Hitting The Studio And Making Music. Making a Total Of 13 Tracks , The Squad Created Two Mixtapes Although The Second Was Not Officially Dropped. Firm Squad Music Can Be Found On YouTube. During 2013 And 2014 , Ifield And The Crew Began Making Music With Ifield's Cousin Dale Haynes (Cash Morada GMB) . They Dropped An EP Totaling 7 Tracks. Although The Crew Was Once Unified , Things Took a Turn When Two Of The Members Decided To Part Ways And Go Their Own Lane. Between 2014-2018 , Ifield Did Not Drop Any Music, Dealing With Life Issues Etc. Ifield Made a Comeback In 2018 After Being Introduced To Barz Young Black , Studio Owner And Engineer. After Working For a Short Stint With BYB, Ifield Dropped A Tape In 2018 Called The Reboot: Humble Vision. Ifield Went On a 2 Year Hiatus Once Again Before Dropping When Hunger Strikes That Included a Video For The Track 'Power Rap'. Since Then, Ifield's Dropped 12 Mixtapes Via SoundCloud And Two EPs Via Apple Music.
