In this part of radiOzora’s conversation series we’re entering “The Universe of Natural Trance” with GREG and LUDO from HILIGHT who are taking us on a journey towards the “Temple of Light”, their newest album coming out this winter. And as we venture further along their path of organic trance, we find ourselves in a space of ever-evolving and expanding 3rd millenium sounds, a harmony of the ancient and the instrumental with high level technology that unfolds into an endlessly evolving, living and breathing fusion of inventive musical techniques - pure man-created trance highlighted by the sounds of a myriad of instruments from all around the world. “It is the dawn of a new era. The Hilight Tribe is breaking new ground with their Live Natural Trance, an explosive new sound that is blowing up dance floors from Paris to Tokyo. They are true innovators with their electro-instrumental sound which fuses guitar, bass, drum set, voice, congas, djembe, didgeridoo as well as other string and percussion instruments from all over the world.

These five musicians and their sound engineer live in between Paris, Brittany and the Balearic Islands of Spain, but first and foremost they consider themselves citizens of the world in the spirit of unity between countries and cultures. 08.Dattatreya meets Casual Frequencies - Holey Mountain(200bpm)

The name of the track is from an article I read on a giant interstellar object that entered our solar system called 31/atlas. This was a throw away track for a while before I learned new layering techniques with vocal chops. A good example of why you should always bounce finished tracks to audio so you can store them for later. Super happy with the end result and I hope you guys enjoy it too!
