HOMEGOING is an attempt to honor black queer musicians, singers and choir directors from the Black Church tradition. A mix of gospel, house, jazz, r&b, funk, disco and other genres, DJ Lil' Dave took the songs from HOMEGOING, remixed them and added them to a dance mix.

My final project for Fall 2023 Seminar MUSI 7547 "EcoAcoustic Thought and Practice".

Using the sound wave peaks of field recording audio of rain in my neighborhood, I composed an electric piano mapping improvisation to trigger when ever the rain drops peaked.
