I love being a singer/songwriter but, without my brother Bri, I wouldn’t even have considered it as being a possibility. He was the reason that music existed in the way that it did in my life. I experienced the creation and development of new songs always being played around the house and, if I was lucky, he would play me the finished song. I don't ever remember hearing a bad one.  Having this page now allows me to listen to them whenever I want and I certainly haven’t changed my mind.

Whenever I got the chance to create music with Bri I didn’t hesitate, so when he rang me and asked if I wanted to come over and work on “One Unguarded Moment” I jumped in my car and had arrived at his flat before he'd put the receiver down. My favourite part of working on a song, both then and now, is watching it grow, and working alongside Bri was always something special.  Gary and I wanted to share this early version of ‘One Unguarded  Moment’ - as an added bonus, it contains a special guitar break from Bri.

The three of us shared a few tears along the way to the final creation of this song but none of us expected or wanted it to be so relevant to Bri. There were many guarded and unguarded moments in his life and I count myself very lucky to have been part of just a few.
