Saxophone & Clarinet player Rainer Theobald hails from Berlin, Germany and was raised in a little town called Alsfeld.

At the age of six he took flute lessons and was influenced early on by classical music, soul and later, jazz. Influenced by Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Weather Report and Archie Shepp. He started playing clarinet in 1972 and a year later joined the local electric-jazz band “GRABHUND”. Intrigued by the saxophone, in 1975 he purchased one and began to craft his style. He toured and recorded with GRABHUND until 1981 and performed at the best jazz venues in Frankfurt.

In Berlin, he began to teach saxophone and clarinet. He played with artists such as bassist Jay Oliver, Steve Lacy, Pam Shiner, Peter Kowald and the best of the Free-Jazz scene. Forming his own Punk-Jazz group ‘COAL’ , winning awards with them and also was the opening act at the 14.Hofheimer Jazz Festival for Sun Ra Arkestra. Stayed busy with a steady flow of studio work with well known bands like ELEMENT OF CRIME and TV Shows with ALPHAVILLE. He also formed several other funk and jazz bands like The"O"s, BIG BLOW 7, ART BOLDEN QUARTET.

Rainer Theobald now lives in Berlin as a saxophone & clarinet player, composer, bandleader and manager who performs many high-end venues in the area. He is looking to find collaborations as a sideman, studio-work, live performance, recording and producing worldwide.

Bereits in Kindertagen war sie diesbezüglich nicht zu stoppen. Wenn ihre Mutter eine schöne Schallplatte auflegte, sang und tanzte sie sofort fröhlich mit.
Ruckzuck fand sie sich im Kinderchor wieder, woraus sich in Windeseile Solo-Auftritte entwickelten.
Im Alter von 20 Jahren begann sie ihr Studium an der “Deutschen Pop” Akademie in Berlin und perfektionierte dort ihre Fähigkeiten als Studio- und Live-Musikerin und entdeckte ihr Talent als Songwriterin.
Inzwischen ist Nicole zu einer lebenslustigen und charmanten Künstlerin gereift, die ihr Publikum durch ihre authentische, unverblümte und zugleich symphatische Art auf ihre Seite zieht.
Ihre sehr persönlichen Texte, verpackt in interessante Melodien, geben einem das Gefühl einer guten Freundin zuzuhören. Die Einfühlsamkeit ihrer warmen und facettenreichen Stimme berührt einen jedesmal auf’s Neue.
So erschafft sie Pop-, Rock- und Soul-Ohrwürmer, in denen die klassischen Themen Liebe, Glück, Hoffnung, Sehnsucht und Melancholie auf ihre ganz eigene Art beleuchtet werden.

INTENSE AND INTOXICATINGLY REAL.

Maybe that´s the best description of the singer from Berlin to whom music and singing belong like air to breathing.
Already in her childhood days nobody was able to stop her. If her mother put on a nice record, she began to sing and dance along happily.
Soon, she found herself in the children´s choir, from which solo performances developed quickly.
At the age of 20 she began to study at „Deutsche Pop Akademie“ in Berlin, where she perfected her skills as a studio and live musician and discovered her talent as a songwriter.
By now Nicole has matured into a fun-loving and charming artist, who wins the audience over through her authentic, unvarnished and at the same time sympathetic nature.
Her very personal lyrics, wrapped in interesting melodies, give the feeling of listening to an old friend. The empathy of her warm and multi-faceted voice is touching every time.
That way she creates earworms in pop, rock and soul, in which she illuminates the classic themes of love, happiness, yearning and melancholy in her very own way.
