As far as Bristol supergroups go, Joker, DJ Die and Futureboogie affiliate Christophé are doing a pretty good job of representing under their collaborative project Sure Thing. 

With Desi Rogers on drums, the dubstep, jungle and house producers come together to form a group creating music that wouldn't be out of place within the confines of a Miami beach club in the '80s.

‘When people came to the Muzic Box they specifically came there for one reason: to get their jack on. They came there to sweat and to listen to music.’ A tribute to the beginning of Chicago Deep House with a modern twist put into an EP of 3 tracks - a slice of electro-funk, feel good house and warehouse breaks. A homage to the infamous nightclub ’ The Muzic Box’ (former name ’ Warehouse’) from Chicago where Jackin’ was developed with a smile on your face. 

Click Click has been one of Berlin’s best kept underground DJs. We have been enjoying his DJ-sets so much it was natural we asked for a release. When he dropped ’The Muzic Box’  for the first time, Shir Khan immediately wanted to sign the track and there we go!

The last 2 years saw him releasing records on Green Velvet’s/Cajmere’s Cajual Records, San Franciscos OM Records or his own label Kassette Records (which he co-runs with M_Ferri). With upcoming tracks on Steve Lawlers VIVa MUSiC plus regular DJ Gigs at Berlin’s Watergate and Stattbad Wedding or Sao Paulos D.Edge, the future is looking bright for this very talented producer.

When i was around 6 my favorite show in Germany was Sesamstrasse. It was a German adaptation of the American Sesame Street. I was really crazy about the show, and I used to always watch it at my Grandparents in Germany.

The intro song was very dear to me. The lyrics went Der Die Das, Wie Weshalb Warum. Which ruffly translates to He She It, How, For what reason, Why.

The intro song spawned this Childish Curiosity in me. I had to explore everything around me. I would bang on lids in the kitchen to hear what they sounded like.

It was this song that made we want to make sounds with different objects, and experiment with early rythms. From this moment on i was engulfed in anything that made a sound.

Slow but powerful and energetic with that certain edge to make the difference on every festival ground this summer. DJQ aka Quinta Young from the Bronx is definitely one to notice, not only with his dj- and dancing-skills but also with his great voice and flow which gave 'Ride The Flow" that certain extra something. And Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold are equally proud to present a fantastic remix from Mathias Kaden who's second artist album 'Energetic' will be released in june on Freude Am Tanzen.

And we know we are biased... but we think they did some killer Chicago tracks! (and no we won't loose our job if we'd say its shite ;-)
