Tdesu, full-time music producer and DJ based in Toronto on Up Records' artist roster, has gained international attention for his remixes of timeless classics and current-day hits blending ear-catching melodies with dance genres from around the world. At over 1 million streams, his tracks have been featured on major platforms such as Boiler Room, Apple Music, Soulection, Rinse FM, On The Radar, & Aimé Leon Dore. Always reading the room—from high-octane dance floors to late-night lounges to daytime functions—his sets are a combination of intentional preparation and purposeful improvisation, shifting through elements of club, R&B, hip hop, jazz, soul, the Neptunes sound and in-the-pocket grooves to curate the best vibe at every moment. Across 9 years of djing and 12 years of music production, he has toured numerous cities including Los Angeles, New York, and Montreal. In 2024, he completed his 3rd Canadian tour and a Central American debut in Mexico City and Costa Rica. He was also the sojourn Festival contest slot winner and released his 4th volume of edits and remixes.

This is Vivek Atre, widely known by his stage name, V_RAY. His artistic journey started in 2009 when he entered the world of music through The King of Pop, Michael Jackson. After that, he decided to become a dancer. V_RAY participated in underground hip-hop communities in New Delhi, India. Where he learned elements of Hip-Hop: Graffiti, Breaking, MCing, and Deejaying. From there he got to know various types of music. 

He started to build a network among DJs in his city where he became a member of Rarely Usual, a group of DJs who organize events in clubs and pubs to throw big parties. Everything went well until COVID struck in 2020 when the world stopped to function the way it used to before.

In the phase of COVID, he watched a ‘boiler room’ set of DJ/Producer Kaytranada on YouTube. This inspired him to watch his set to become a music producer as well. Kaytranada’s music inspired him because he found that all the genres which V_RAY truly liked came out of one single set. After getting inspired V_RAY started to learn music production and learned DAW such as FL studio with the help of his friends and instructors on YouTube.

After lockdown got over in 2021, V_RAY actively produces music in his home studio mainly focusing on genres like (neo-soul, RnB, house, hip-hop, funk, and disco) and also does some freelancing gigs as DJ. Now he is more committed to producing his music which will reach far and many places.
