Borne of musicians discovered in the chill at the Rainbow Serpent Festival, Polynated is a collection of uniquely Australian downtempo artists. The album is a journey of sonic diversity in the realms of downbeat psychedelic ambient, with elements of dub, glitch, and galactic spirals This is the first time that Melbourne's diverse chillout acts have been given a unified platform, and Polynated underscores their diversity, quality and individuality. Regular performers d-Rektional, Oblique Industries and Superfluous Nipple appear alongside promising new acts including Tranquility Bass, Ilak and Bent Intent to create an album that's as fresh, inspiring and unique as the Melbourne scene it documents.
