The Barcelona based tape label Zona Watusa is known for its broad palette of experimental sounds. With the release of Domus, a new deep dark hue is added to the catalog.  Zona Watusa is proud to finally announce the debut solo album “Domus” by Goz.

Goz is none other than the tirelessly working bass-explosion that is Gonçalo Almeida (Ikizukuri, Hydra Ensemble, Lama Trio). Goncalo Almeida was born in 1978 Lisbon, Portugal. He lives in Rotterdam, Netherlands, where he plays in a variety of projects that range from modern jazz, free jazz, jazzcore and free improvisation music.

As Goz, Almeida explores the field of doom and drone with his usual fierceness, but with a personal delicate touch. These storytelling riffs go beyond anything he has ever done before. Rotterdam’s Torture Corpse joins him on a 3-part closing track to finish this cosmic ride.

Goz’s own precious metal art is used for the cover design. Artwork is designed by Studio Denk. Final sleeves are handmade and manually assembled by Zona Watusa. Domus will be available on a limited edition cassette and digital. The pre-order will start on 18-02-2022 and the full release will be out on 01-03-2022.

Varteres Durise is a artist based in Istanbul with Greek and Armenian roots. His first album Famadihana which released in 2018 is now remixed! The remix album includes Aho Ssan, Mondkopf, Öspiel, Taner Yücel and Vendex. Mondkopf’s remix of Panopticon also hosts Contre-Ciel (Stéphane Pigneul from Oiseaux-Tempête, Le réveil des Tropiques) with vocals. Album will be released on April 10, 2022.

'Aged Fractures and Dead Ends' is a vast collection of various archive material produced by the Stratvm Terror constellation Peter Andersson (raison d'être) and Tobias Larsson (Ocean Chief).
Lost pieces, sketches, live material, cassette and compilation tracks between 1993 and 1999. 150 minutes in total and most of it has previously never been released.
Comes in a 6-panel digipak with photos by Henrik Stolt.

Raison d'être formed in 1991 as a tool of expression with the goal of self-realization. Behind the project is the highly respected and multitalented sound artist Peter Andersson.
