This is thee sekond full length release from thee Czech Ritual Ambient projekt Druhá Smrt, komprising of five kompositions that further dokument their personal Workings. 
From thee DBL interview with Druhá Smrt: "This ritual is not an attempt of evokation, but really is invokation. What is in ourselves, our deepest buried Id-Entity, which is not as simple as superficial Ego. What is different - otherness, and what we fear most... is our hidden self. Dark One, who dwells forgotten in the kingdom of the dead, in the realm of dreams and visions. If we want to achieve wholeness and walk to the path on permanent transformation (which is individuation), we must wake up what is dead in us. Only then we can achieve it all, together with what we have forgotten and lost. It is again an eschatonickal ritual (like Druhá Smrt muzik is) because it is about our Dark Self, risen from the alleged grave, which will lead us in the paths of the future - through the time of the end - and maybe out of time..."

'Foreshadow' was Inkluded with thee pre-order of this release and is an exklusive komposition from Druhá Smrt. This is to be konsidered a prequel to Ukhulth although it was kreated after thee main Work. In thee words of Druhá Smrt: "This became a part of 'Ukhulth' after we realised that it brought us back to the same state as the aforementioned Ritual. It filled me with emotion to return to this with a feeling of a premonition: a Time Paradox". As thee work has now been released this komposition is no longer available to d/load and kan only be streamed.

As if the Anima/Animus was intruded and molested or rejected and deformed, infecting the host, causing a different and repressed output. Daemoniacum is the album manifested by the demons.

Taken from thee new kompilation release out on Sombre Soniks, entitled 'Thee Babblogues'. This komposition was rekorded in one take using live looping and processing of thee vokal performance.

10 artists were invited to submit rekordings fokusing upon thee Magikal and Ethnomuzikologikal usage of Voice. Thee results range from raw, akoustik rekordings to processed, sequenced pieces; grunts and howls to spoken mantras.

Akoustik Timbre Frekuency, Babalith, Druhá Smrt, Emme Ya, Fecal Fetal, Kestral Knox, Kristus Kut, Meg Nightjar, Melankolia & Orryelle Defenestrate-Bascule

18 kompositions, totalling four hours of vokal manipulations designed to 'blast thee Tower' of konsciousness. 

Also inkluded is a 26 page pdf booklet featuring 'The Magical Use Of Voice' by Phil Hine, which inspired thee theme and title for this Projekt, plus info and photos for each artist involved.

Teaser for the new raison d'être studio album 'Mise en Abyme', out on Transgredient Records 2014. 

'Mise en Abyme' (placed into the abyss) is an inner katabasis journey to the most hidden and darkest parts of the Self. Conceptually the album contains ingredients from 'The Divine Comedy' by Dante or any similar stories/myths around the katabasis theme. Instead of being linked to religion, history or morality, 'Mise en Abyme' is purely a psychological and therapeutic trip to the underworld. But even in the most dark and chaotic places in the depths there are small shades of light, hope and understanding; one can be enlightened and purified in the return from an inferno.

NIHIL is the second album for Cyclic Law from Bulgaria's Shrine. The album was completed in September'2013 as a commemoration of SHRINE’s 10th year anniversary (IX.2003 - IX.2013) and brings together seven tracks composed over the last 5 years. A very personal and poignant work that differs significantly from other SHRINE releases, being a lot heavier in atmosphere with a lingering gloom and largely saturated with negativity. Exploring the burden of the human ego from a personal point of view, it aims to expose a different look upon Freud's "Death Drive" theory. Delve into the depths and let Shrine guide you through it's singular shadow world. "A gift for you, who wake up in the middle of the night and know you couldn't live with yourself any longer."

Shrine - Paradise - Excerpt

Finland's Otavan Veret is another new addition to the Cyclic Law family. Hailing from mystical Finland, the project is from the minds of Kaarna (Tervahäät, Anima Artica Label etc..) & Kivelä (Tervahäät,). Their first self titled album is a conceptual journey towards the the vastness of the universe, where one would simply seep into and become on with these amorphous territories. A calm, epic, massive and monotonously rich curtain of ritualistic sonorities escalates as radiant timbres morphs like an aurora borealis amongst stellar luster. Ever present is the uttermost distance, deep as lethargy, soothing as still waters and affective as phantoms.

Sound clip from the CD 'When the Earth Dissolves in Ashes' which gathers 75 minutes unique live only material performed at different locations during 2010 and 2011: Zürich, Wuppertal, Rotterdam, Cologne, Leipzig (WGT), Cherkassy and more. The starting point for these live tracks is mainly the sounds used for 'In sadness, Silence and Solitude', 'Metamorphyses' and 'The Stains of the Embodied Sacrifice' looped and mixed live together with on spot improvised sounds, thus shaped into new never before heard sonically expressions.

The dark, atmospheric and energetic mix of choirs, strings, various Fx sounds, heavy drums and tribal sections makes this the seed for the raison d’être sound trademark that begun with the album 'Prospectus I' from 1993.

For almost two decades now, and with a vast number of CD releases on the Cold Meat Industry label, raison d'être have been supplying listeners with overwhelming dark ambient industrial landscapes of beauty and sorrow. Listening to raison d'être is like a lucid journey into the dark hidden domains of your inner self. But this is not all.
