No release last week and for a good reason. I spent the last days deep in the clubs of Athens, mixing, exploring, and absorbing the raw pulse of the hardcore underground. The energy, the sweat, the distorted kicks shaking the walls, that’s where this track was born.

Back at the hotel, right after a night of pure chaos and euphoria, I opened my laptop, headphones still ringing, and started building what you’re about to hear. Backroom Frequency is the echo of that night, fast, loud, and unapologetically alive.

Known for those stodgy, chonky, booming over-compressed hardcore kicks and those bacon-sizzling hihats, Jimbo Asquith slid back into the studio to record a whopping 67 samples that underpin and complement his signature Yorkshire wall-rattlers.

Bumpy techno kicks, crispy hats, snappy snares, clippy claps and sunset-sailing rides, plus a few fuzzy stabs and whomping subs for good measure. The pack contains a slew of originally-crafted one hits plus a cheeky load of hits and loops from Asquith bangers - The Conditioning Track, And Go, Never Alone, Touch The Sky and NRG Mix.
