I am sharing this recording today  to commemorate the memory of Matthew Karlinsky (May 17, 1983 to October 24, 2003) who was taken from this world at age 20 on this date, 10 years ago, due to a car accident. 

“I Remember Clifford" was written by Benny Golson in memory of the legendary trumpet player Clifford Brown who died at age 26 due to a car accident. This was recorded a couple of years ago with my sister Talia Rivlin-Peer on piano and me playing alto sax.
