This set has been in development for a long time. Originally arranged for 2024 campout season, it was shelved for nearly a year. More tracks were acquired and integrated in 2025, abd a bunch that were originally in didn't make the final cut. I've been taking some time off from DJing while learning to play guitar and pursue other creative outlets, but I felt the inspiration to dust off the decks and finally get this set finished. I started making this mix series 11 years ago to celebrate my birthday and DJ anniversary.  After a short break, I am pleased to bring the tradition back to life with Twenty-Two, celebrating my 50th birthday and 22 years of DJing. I usually set a lot of rules for programming these studio mixes but I let that all go for this mix and just chose what moved me. I hope it moves you too! I found the album cover quite fitting, which was taken at my 40th at the first ShOOnanigans 10 years ago! 

I am excited to celebrate my 50th at Public Works SF on Sat 7/19! We have one of my favorite producers, Aylen, headlining along with special guests and my long-time friends Dulce Vita (Opulent Temple), Haute Mess (Brass Tax), and Nugz (Dusty Rhino). Hello all! Dancing Mandy and I are pleased to finally release our live recording of our tag team set at unSCruz 2025, Saturday night on the Luna Stage! Since we were slotted to play the closing set we decided to go ALL OUT and bang it out with some odes to the late night after hours that a lot of us grew up in. We decided to keep it spicy and play 1x1 (as in, we each played only 1 song at a time) which was a lot of fun because it gave us more opportunities to dig through our digital Rolex and find a suitable track to mix into the last one.

SF based Kotton Dandy is a huge fan of breaks and sometimes higher energy House music. If you put him on very late at night he might show off his semi-secret fascination with gothy techno.

Kotton is part of the magical community of fun-making called Decadent Oasis. You might know them as the LED tree people at Burning Man. They do their best to make Bay Area fun on a regular basis.
