今回は、Repeat Danceを運営している彼から、面白い旅のテーマのミックスが届きました。
彼の魅力は、DJとしての表現力はもちろんのこと、ここには載せきれないほど熱いコメントを送ってくれるマメさと熱心さにあります。
その姿勢が、多くの人の心を掴んでいるのだと思います。
今回彼が届けてくれたのは、“聴覚の探検のような旅”というユニークなテーマ。
実際にさまざまな音が散りばめられていながらも、ミックス全体は一貫して心地よく、まさに旅の中にいるような感覚を味わえます。

This time, we received an intriguing travel-themed mix from the person who runs Repeat Dance.

Originally from Boorloo (Perth) and making the move to Naarm (Melbourne) in 2023, Mitch's DJ journey has been one of constant expansion and rediscovery. He first established himself within the local scene with deep, soulful journeys through jazz, dub, reggae, and lovers-rock.
Over the past few years, his vinyl collection has expanded drastically, allowing him to weave these soulful foundations back into the world of electronic and dance music. His sets are characterized by his ability to find the resonant space between genres, moving effortlessly from minimal textures to expansive grooves. He can be found playing sets across Naarm's local spots, always with an emphasis on texture and a captivating slow burn.

Boorloo (Perth)出身で、2023年にNaarm (Melbourne)へ拠点を移したMitchのDJとしての歩みは、常に“拡張”と“再発見”の連続だった。
彼は、ジャズ、ダブ、レゲエ、ラヴァーズロックといった音楽を通じて、深くソウルフルな旅路を描くことで地元シーンにその名を広めた。
