В давние времена слепой арфист O'Carolan, странствуя по миру, находил приют у благородных людей, и в благодарность он посвящал им мелодии собственного сочинения, которые назывались Planxty. И вот написалась у меня одна мелодия, про которую я понял, что она должна называться Planxty BG. Ведь все мы находим приют в доме, который он создал. А записать мне ее помогли дорогие друзья - Brian Finnegan, Андрей Байрамов, Олег Шарр, Денис Розов и Никита Иванов-Номан.

"The Clergy's Lamentation" is an Irish ballad by Turlough O'Carolan, I play it on an enlarged replica of the Brian Boru's Harp displayed in the Trinity College, Dublin. The harp is entirely made of yew and was crafted by Frank Sievert. It's strung with bronze strings, hence the bright, sustaining sound.
This arrangement consists of an improvised introduction, followed by the tune. 
Many thanks to my fellow harpist Stefan Battige, who taught me this tune. 

"The Clergy's Lamentation" ist eine irische Ballade von Turlough O'Carolan, gespielt auf einer leicht vergrößerten Nachbildung der Brian Boru Harfe, wie sie im Trinity College in Dublin zu bewundern ist. Die Harfe wurde vom Harfenbauer Frank Sievert aus Eibenholz gefertigt und ist mit Bronzesaiten bespannt, daher der helle und nachschwingende Klang. 
Dieses Arrangement besteht aus einem improvisierten Eingangsteil, das eigentlich Stück folgt im hinteren Teil. 
Vielen Dank an meinen Harfenspielerkollegen Stefan Battige, der mir dieses Stück beigebracht hat.
