For our second edition of the rally mix series, we are thrilled to invite SlowRolla. He is a 160 powerhouse that caught our attention a few months ago with his punchy and powerful selections. SlowRolla is an American producer from Albuquerque, New Mexico, carving a unique niche in the underground music scene with his signature 160 bpm style. For our third rally mix, we travel to internationally to hear some of the best 160 DJs out of South Korea. We learned about AEIDA from her visla.fm show, Icy Sounds, where she frequently plays UK genres like jungle, UKG, grime, and more. Her mixes are clever, attentive, and showcase her talent in cultivating musical journeys. She is an absolute gem of a DJ, and this mix is no exception. Enjoy an hour of upbeat footwork and jungle, with plenty of twists and turns.

AEIDA is a DJ from Korea who focuses on playing UK genres and footwork. She is intentional about introducing tracks that stand out in high, upbeat tunes. She has a bi-monthly show on visla.fm called Icy Sounds, where she showcases these genres as well as artists from the Seoul scenes. AEIDA is a regular in the Itaewon circuit, playing and beloved clubs like Pistil and Cakeshop, as well as Seoul Community Radio.

For our fourth rally mix, we invite dear friend and local connoisseur of all things pink --pinkting! Kicking us off the new year with our first rally mix of 2025, pinkting is slowing things down with a roving overview of music from Africa and the diaspora; expect afrobeats, amapiano, dancehall, and more. pinkting opened our first ever rally, and we're so excited to share their work again!

pinkting is a native nyer, raised in jamaica, queens, spinning sounds across the african diaspora for the hot gyals, gays and theys. their musical tastes reflect their identities as a child of parents who both migrated to nyc- one by way of alabama, and the other by way of jamaica. pinkting's sets will take you on a journey, from kingston to birmingham and everywhere in between. music can tell a powerful story of the past and present and as a dj, they craft narratives that center queer Black people of marginalized genders and create space for us to move our bodies in joyful and freeing ways.

rally mix 004 | pinkting

For our 6th edition of the rally mix series, we invite friends RUSHHOUR (Chris Waldt and mausam) and Ghozt of the Brooklyn based Astroturf collective. These three organize some of the most exciting events in the city, we are grateful to have them on the mix for a genre eclectic and upbeat exploration of their signature sounds. Enjoy RUSHHOUR in the first half, and Ghozt in the second for 90 minutes of some of Brooklyn's finest!

Astroturf is what happens when you mix @touchgrass.nyc and @plasticpainclub, apply a little pressure, and wait thirty minutes to let them set. Since last summer, Astroturf has been throwing parties in Brooklyn that meld an ear for the roots of dance music with a desire to explore the infinite sonic frontiers of electronic music. Astroturf's lineups fray the seams between seemingly disparate genres, scenes, and artists, while always making it irresistible to move. DJs and producers Chris Waldt, Ghost, and mausam put together lineups and drive the sonic direction of the party, while designer Kailyn and photographer/videographer/social-media-savant Noah work behind the scenes to drive the party's visual identity. In this mix, Chris Waldt and mausam team up as RUSHHOUR for a primer on party music from both sides of the Atlantic (and Lake Michigan), while Ghozt scrambles and rearranges the boundaries of club music. This is dance music for an era of constant flux.
