Sometimes magical things just happen. I wrote down some thoughts, and couldn't get them out of my head. I created a soundscape from the thoughts, and they still wouldn't leave my head, but something didn't feel quite right.
I sent everything to Peter, and asked him to think a little about what he heard and read.
And he returned with his poetry and his very captivating voice. And now the whole idea made perfect sense. ;)

We hope that you too find a restful moment for reflection. ;)

Talk to the Lord

I spoke with God today,
Asked why she was absent.
“Where the hell are you?” I said, kneeling down to pray
“As the world burns, and yet the innocent repent?”
Not her fault, was all she’d say
Placed the blame on lack of faith.

I whispered to the devil today,
Wondered why he inflicted so much misery on this earth,
With famine, war, death and pain all in play
Not his fault, he said, weighing grace with evil’s worth
Man’s fate was there for him to make
As best he could, with his lack of faith.

I screamed, bewildered to myself today,
Cried “where on earth is human faith,
Amid all the rotted aspirations of power, wealth and wicked gain?”
Not our fault, I heard myself, in disbelief, replay
Since the words of gods and devils in each and every creed
Are but written and interpreted by man himself - according to his craven greed.

**The Musical Offering (German: Musikalisches Opfer or Das Musikalische Opfer), BWV 1079, is a collection of keyboard canons and fugues and other pieces of music by Johann Sebastian Bach, all based on a single musical theme given to him by Frederick the Great (King Frederick II of Prussia), to whom they are dedicated. They were published in September 1747. The Ricercar a 6, a six-voice fugue which is regarded as the high point of the entire work, was put forward by the musicologist Charles Rosen as the most significant piano composition in history (partly because it is one of the first).[1] This ricercar is also occasionally called the Prussian Fugue, a name used by Bach himself.
