After a year's groundwork, @soulclap flew George Clinton into Red Bull studios for a three day session that gave birth to 'Peep This' among many others. The track also features @nickmonaco (production), G Koop (bass) and Greg Paulus (trumpet).

Zootzilla returns to funk the world with that raw Flamoneous Skunk groove that made his the last record “P’n All Over da Place” such a gritty classic slab of west coast fonk. On “To Lie With Wolves” he not only channels and tunes in to the same frequency as Dr. Funkenstein, George Clinton actually shows up in the mix this time. The Good Dr. spices up tracks like the opening “Something Wicked” over a dense Bernie Worrell/Parliament- inspired bass synth lick. You can smell this sticky liquid chyt 10 miles away and let me tell ya it’s a mutha.

Lord Zoot Von Lewdwigg has again crafted a futuristic street funk classic. It’s no telling who else is playing on here, the groove at times is so thick it could be the whole Bay Area camp up in this mugg. A visit to GKOOP's Oakland CA studio in July of 2011 yielded these tracks featuring the production work of GKOOP with guest vocalist Gift Of Gab as well as the Funkadelic family of George Clinton, Kandy Apple Redd, Kim Manning, Kevin Shider, and Paul Hill.  I was fortunate to play keyboards on these as well as co-writing and co-production for "Bring It Home"
