All faders, realtime effects, and synthesizers were all recorded in one take, the same way I would do it live at a show. Ralph Cree has several projects that he is involved in.

Firstly, Undulus is the artist name of Ralph Cree, a Multi-intrumentalist from Dorset. Ralph has been composing, recording and producing his own music since the mid 1990's, playing the vast majority of instruments himself. He has called on the musical skills of the occasional friend.

Ralph studied Ethno-Musicology at The School of Oriental and African Studies in London, hence the musical influences behind Undulus are very diverse - ranging from Electro, Dance, World, Jazz, Classical, Funk. So, in this sense the music is very contemporary, simultaneously drawing inspiration from the music of all cultures and periods of history. 

Secondly, The Crees: A Husband and Wife Musical Duo (Ralph Cree and Dizzi Dulcimer) who delight in creating magical melodies that speak directly to the heart. We play a selection of unusual acoustic instruments including, Hammered Dulcimer, Hang, Halo, Thumb Piano,Tank Drum, Metallophone, Piano, and a variety of World Percussion.

This Crees debut album "Kenosis" is a very chilled-out sonic and melodic journey, perfect for contemplation and deep relaxation. In addition to being enjoyed at home, Kenosis creates a soothing environment for Yoga and Meditation classes, and Natural Therapies such as Massage. As well as playing our instruments, we recorded every sound ourselves, including all the nature sounds, which were recorded on location in the wild places of the West Country.

Thirdly, Ralph is the Co-Founder of The Magic Drum Orchestra who fuse a passion for Brazilian music, heavy drums and percussion with a love of modern dance beats. Their sound has influences from dubstep, drum & bass and hip hop fused with batucada, samba and afrobeat.

Lastly, Ralph created the Zen Ambient Sample Pack released by Loopmasters. This sample pack is for making super-chilled music.
