I shot a live recording video of my song "Kemba Walker" & uploaded it to all of my social medias. Everyone outwardly expressed how dope it was to see me "perform" it technically. I was in the shower the other night & thought "Why don't I upload the live recording audio to all streaming services like major artist do for their live shows?" - a few hours later, that's exactly what I did. I hope this song reaches the masses & inspire other independent artists to just do!

On Tuesday, March 7, to flex my independence & exercise my creative process, at around 12pm, I started a song from scratch and by 12am that night, I completely finished the song AND uploaded it to my distributor for release. I wrote, produced, recorded, mixed & engineered the entire song myself. The song is titled 'Mimosas' because my girlfriend really likes them, which is why the song starts "Lolo & I sippin' on Mimosas, probably out of L.A. being social, not bilingual but may be bi-coastal".

On August 14, I put myself to the test to see if I could (once again) create a song from scratch AND upload the song for distribution - ALL IN ONE DAY. 💯 When I say from scratch - I wrote the lyrics, made the beat, recorded the lyrics, mixed the song & (somewhat) mastered the song! I started in the afternoon and completed the mission around 12, 1am. 🙏🏾 I love pushing myself. I used to be an athlete so I thrive on pressure and being challenged & if no one is going to challenge me, I find ways to challenge myself. Some may say this isn’t a good idea, but hey, my song “Mimosas” is a top 7 song of mine on Spotify AND it’s performing considerably better than my song with Benny The Butcher! 🤷🏾‍♂️ If you’re an artist and you made it this far on this caption - STOP LIMITING YOURSELF. Chicago underground hip-hop artist Ramaj Eroc has always explored through a variety of topics & sounds with his music since he started writing at the age of 11. Born Jamar Core in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood, Ramaj's frequent moves from the city to the suburbs inspired all of his experiences. Influenced by the likes of Diddy, Kanye West, Ludacris, J. Cole, as well as known Rock band Linkin Park & battle MC Reed Dollaz, his 2011 relocation to Los Angeles changed everything.

The Chicago rap artist has collaborated with comedian Kevin Hart on the single 'Mitches Do That', & has collaborated with fellow Chicago artist Noname on the song 'I Love You More'.

His songs 'Hooptie' & 'N*ggas & B*tches' had amassed 14+ million streams on his original Soundcloud collectively before the platform deleted his profile. In 2018, Eroc's total streams for the year on Spotify totaled more than 1 million & 1.3 million in 2019. 2020's total streams on Spotify reached 3.6 million - the most in Ramaj's career.
