As always, Toolroom are rolling out the hits for 2022 and this next one is certainly going to take the roof off any club its played in. Welcoming back to the firm with open arms is Illyus & Barrientos, who are back and ready to shake up 2022 with ‘Sublime’; a driving bass line heavy record that’ll whip the dance floor into shape. Self-assured with enough energy to keep you movin’ all night long, Illyus & Barrientos go back to the sound that made them the artists they are today and with it, certainly have the club at the tip of their fingers.

Toolroom favourites & Glaswegian natives, Illyus & Barrientos have been long time members of the #ToolroomFamily, having released huge hits with the label from 2018’s smash hit – ‘So Serious’ to ‘Promise’ & ‘Disco Hearts’, if there is one thing Illyus & Barrientos know how to do, it’s write an absolute heater! Aside from this, the duo has a prolific discography of records spanning Ultra, Armada Music, Club Sweat & more.

Going back to their latest release on the label, ‘Sublime’ exudes everything you want from an Illyus & Barrientos record, solid production, thumping groove and a ground shakingly deep bass line with an attitude to match. 
Of course, it wouldn’t be perfect without a stunning vocal line which ties the whole record together flawlessly. For sure it’s all eyes on Illyus & Barrientos as they hands down, drop one of their best records to date since ‘Disco Hearts’ or ‘Promise’ on Toolroom, if you don’t know then get to know ‘Sublime’ as you’ll be hearing a lot more of this record throughout 2022.

An established name in the scene for over 20 years, German House DJ & producer Kurd Maverick has his foot firmly planted in the House Music world. New Ep on Anderblast's label called "Discover New Talents" with the upcoming producers of the underground Tech House scene.
The 1st is from the Italian dj Omar Kleys called "Priority". The track is a mental journey, with an intense groove, obsessive percussions and dark samples that gives to the track that tasty touch.

The 2nd by Franz Frisani and Andrè Cardillo called "I Know" is a swing Tech House groovy tune with a bumping' baseline. The dance floor can't resist on this one!!

We welcome for the first time an extremely young, just 18 years old DJ/producer at HouseU. Despite of his young age he is over some serious projects. Julian Kid is developing himself consciously, he is preparing for the music industry and producing better and better tracks. He intoduced himself last year at Finally Records and the EDX marked No Definition. In addition, many bigger record label showed interest of his work, so next to HouseU, he is coming up soon at Solotoko and Glasgow Underground. The Hungarian DJ prefers mostly Vocal House in his sets, but the melodic records and classic pieces are close to his heart as well. His taste is showing up in his brand new track 'Ready Or Not'. This is the latest and greatest rework of the famous hit from the 90's. 
The track stolen our heart for the first listen. The song is characterised by tight and dynamic techy beats, pulsating bass and excellent vocal. The combination of modern and classic stlye is well done. Julian Kid works for a long time to find his own soundworld what he can represent proudly as a DJ and producer as well. We can surely claim that he is on the right way to reach success.
