It was an auspicious moment at the end of yet another incredible night at the legendary Dönerlounge that saw Cantürk finally overcome his shyness and spin a few records at the sacred 'Dönerstag' night he had brought to life in Berlin back in 2003. Following the success of his first absynth fuelled DJ set he went on to DJ for his friends and the intimate crowd at the Dönerlounge. It was during this period of promoting and playing at his parties that Cantürk the 'raver of the people' was born.
  
  It was at yet another one of those Berlin-typical sunday night afterhours that Cantürk met Enrico Rosenthal. They fell in love instantly and founded their loved-up DJ team Cantürk Rosenthal. Together they rocked all the parties of the moment e.g. at the Bar 25 or Beatstreet as well as institutions such as WMF or SO36. As they say, true love always comes to an end and in 2006 they split up. Cantürk took a well needed recreational break and set about improving his skills in his cosy apartment above the former Dönerlounge (now a mediocre Pizzeria catering to the thousands of Easy Jet tourists who currently flock to that corner of Kreuzberg).
  
  Having developed his persona through his role as party host- cum -alpha raver he seeks to share his cumulative experience with the masses through his thunderous DJ sets... make way for Gandi the Raver!!
