Song is an appropriate image for the presentation of the Gita on this recording. Ram Dass' readings and verses from the Gita are set against an underlying wave of music which carries from verse to verse and allows for the contemplation of the words and the ultimate meditative space to unfold. The last three tracks segue into various meditative chants that include Ram Dass, Diana Rogers and Shyamdas. Meditations on the Gita is a unique presentation of Ram Dass' resonance with the teachings of the Gita.

There are many ways to work with energy and personal energetic boundaries. This one uses the metaphor of a physical structure to represent your personal energy space. Energies can be cleared through the structure and the structure itself can be repaired and improved upon allowing for more internal space and light to be available as you engage in your daily external reality.

This is an early recording that I have decided to release now. I may update this one in the near future as personal energetic boundaries are an important area of spiritual hygiene. 

This transmission (recorded in a workshop in Central London in early 2017) works on clearing and strengthening personal energetic space and boundaries. The meditation is accompanied by a live performance of crystal bowls played by San Lau

This meditation is drawn from Theravada (Southern Buddhism) called "Anapana" - just bringing you to right here, and it's done through the breath. Out of all of our individual differences, what is common to us is we are all breathing in, breathing out. 


Ram Dass Breathing Meditation

Ram Dass first went to India in 1967. He was still Dr. Richard Alpert, a prominent Harvard psychologist and psychedelic pioneer with Dr. Timothy Leary. He continued his psychedelic research until that fateful Eastern trip in 1967, when he traveled to India. In India, he met his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, affectionately known as Maharajji, who gave Ram Dass his name, which means “servant of God.” Everything changed then – his intense dharmic life started, and he became a pivotal influence on a culture that has reverberated with the words “Be Here Now” ever since. Ram Dass’ spirit has been a guiding light for three generations, carrying along millions on the journey, helping to free them from their bonds as he works through his own.
