It came as a whisper between the senses. A longing for expression into the community, desiring a breath out from my heart to share the frequencies of juice. Dripping in godliness, trusting source and allowing what wants to move, to move. I try not to think too far ahead, but the mind does occasionally assume command. Until I remember to reorient myself back in the heart. Let the dragons rise, my friends. And be a friend - to a dragon. Blessings.

”In 1985, Ram Dass shared profound insights into self-discovery, consciousness, and spiritual awakening at the SEVA Benefit in New York City. 

Known for his transformative work blending Western psychology with Eastern spirituality, Ram Dass recounts the pivotal moment in his life when he first experienced psilocybin, undercutting his constructed identity and connecting him to a deeper, universal presence.

He describes how this initial glimpse of his “true self” set him on a journey to explore consciousness beyond ego, leading to hundreds of failed experiments and eventually to his transformative encounter with his guru, Maharajji, in India. 

Through this path, he realized that true freedom doesn’t lie in escaping the material world but in embracing the relative reality of all planes of existence—physical, psychological, astral, and beyond.

Ram Dass introduces a metaphorical “channel selector,” illustrating how shifting perspectives can reveal the interconnectedness of all beings. From seeing individuals as mere roles and bodies to recognizing them as souls on their unique journeys, his teaching transcends labels, identities, and separateness, ultimately arriving at the oneness of existence.

He emphasizes that freedom isn’t about staying “high” or fixed in higher states of consciousness but about releasing attachment to any particular perspective or plane of reality. 

In his words, “The secret of the game is that there is nowhere to stand.” This understanding of dynamic freedom forms the essence of his spiritual philosophy.

Through humor, humility, and profound clarity, Ram Dass invites us to look beyond the illusions of separation and to experience the interconnected beauty of life, one moment at a time.

Passion led me to snowboarding, snowboarding led me to dance, dance led me to myself. Two decades ago, dance became a path for self- discovery, healing, and transformation. When I created Inner Rhythm, a facilitated conscious dance practice, my role as a DJ was also born. Tim Barlow (Barefootim) - Originally from the Greenfields of England Barefootim has spent his 20's walking the streets of London, sharing the stage with the likes of Ben Kweller, The Ravonettes and The Magic Numbers. He embarked on a magical voyage across Canada and has happened upon the prairie town of Winnipeg where he now resides. He fronts local folk/roots collective Few Who Do and touts the Lemonheads,  Elliott Smith and Junip as inspiration, his music, his genre. Twinkly Guitar and Melodic Vocals.
