𝓖𝓪𝔃𝓸𝓾𝔃...

Born of a joint venture between the minds of the Rez - Usine venue in Geneva and Bisque collective, Gazouz has been scouring the underground scenes of North Africa and the Middle East since 2019, sifting through the currents coming out of the Arab revolutions.

During a tour alongside a squad drawn from the depths of Cairo (Fusion Festival, Berlin, Paris ...), Gazouz #4 pushes further the drilling through a collaborative program with Cairo Concepts. At its tip : Alaa 50 and Bellya El Karnak, two spearheads of the Mahragan breakthrough, this core deviance of the Egyptian sha'abi whose cathartic outbursts have transformed street weddings (ifrah balad) into wild, urban and full smoke raves. It will also host Dj Jamaïca and Asha playing their favorite bass music from the streets, and finally we will experience a throw of polyrhythmic watermelons with Phil Battiekh. 

To quote an anonymous orientalist: "it's like licking the stoned sidewalks of Saddat City at rush hour, with bruises all over your ears".

Co-founders of TRNSTN RADIO, turbofalafel is a dj collective based between Bern & Fribourg, Switzerland. Event-promoters, crate diggers and curios lovers of current trends, they are focused on sounds coming from West Asia & North Africa region.

In this mix they selected some of their favourites artists from the fresh armenian scene and his diaspora. This selection is a noisy and introspective exploration into the experimental sounds of Yerevan.

Noemi, one part of the Dj Duo ALÉLÉFI, explores Hi-NRG music with noisy vocals, intimate melodies and naughty beats. She conveys feminist messages in her dj-sets, often provocative and deep with the objective to transmit a sense of strength, sisterhood and collective energy. 

For “No Heart FM”, she shares her musical inspiration from her time living in Rwanda mixed with her love for experimental sounds: from hard drums, kuduro, gqom to breakbeats with 90% of female producers.

🇨🇭 With Swiss and Iranian roots, Ramin has been a prominent figure on the Geneva music scene since 2019. He has graced prestigious stages including the Montreux Jazz Festival, Transmusicales de Rennes, Paléo Festival in Nyon, and more.

Ramin curates cultural and club events in collaboration with local venues in Geneva such as Le Rez - L'Usine (hosting the Nowrouz Club night in 2022 and 2024), Le Groove (in 2023 and 2024), Bongo Joe Records (Yalda Nights in 2021-2022-2023), and L'Ecurie (Chaharshanbe Suri - Soirées de soutien).

Currently, Ramin holds a residency at La Gravière where he co-curates Club Salaam, showcasing international artists from the SWANA region and its diaspora. This initiative creates a unique space for community, cultural gatherings, and festive parties in Geneva.

Additionally, Ramin explores his musical heritage and current club music inspirations through radio shows on Noods Radio (Bristol) and Radio Alhara (Palestine).

With a diverse repertoire spanning bass and electronic rhythms infused with retro, acoustic, and synth-pop sounds from around the world, Ramin offers club experiences that transcend borders and ignite dance floors in any setting.
