This is the save select theme for Sonic CDX, a fangame I am creating the soundtrack for.

I got to do this track for Ax once again, and although it took a couple of tries to get towards the proper direction, I am always happy working with him, since he is very open with everything I do, and lets me go nuts.

This track ended up somewhat sounding like something from Sonic R (which i dig), so I went with it. Also you can hear that I included a little cameo towards the motif of Sonic CD, which I'm really happy that fit right in.

Also you might find the track sounding slightly different ingame, since it is compressed there to match the volume of the rest of the soundtrack. I want to distance myself of doing tracks too loud, since the mixing always ends up being a mess. Hopefully it won't be as jarring too next to any other content and tracks.

Using Music 3000, an old PlayStation 2 game, I re-create music from some of my favourite video games such as the Sonic the Hedgehog series.  I also like to do the odd remix or re-arrangement.

Occasionally I like to make some original music too.  Sure, Music 3000 is limited and a bit old-school but I enjoy using it.
