S3 Another Soundtrack is my attempt to make an entire different soundtrack for S3&K in style of Sonic CD and Sonic Mania.

Actual bass is from Waldorf Microwave.

The bass instrument itself is some kind of vox, not sure of the name but it's KORG something. Sonic and Tails are looking in disbelief in the thumbnail (or maybe I was just too lazy to make one). Oh also the marimba/xylophone instrument is actually from its source instead of some crappy recreation.

Also it was a total accident I found it, I just thought "huh that sounded kinda like it" and then compared and it sounded spot on, also checked through a spectogram and it came back as a VERY similar image.

For quite a while I've been working as one of the composers on a small group developing a Sonic fangame called 'Sonic Chroma'. My group, Team Chroma, only really has a small handful of artists thus far, so we're really looking for more artists as well as programmers!

I’m also not the only composer in this, Wheyloffle, Is another team member who is also composing for this soundtrack (and also the person responsible of the cover art and the logo). I spent a part of today trying to port a bunch of SCC waveforms to Serum, after being mildly annoyed with how low-quality SanbikiSCC was (it's a soundfont, can't do much there). The drums are ripped from that, though, as I personally think they're pretty usable!

Special shoutouts to @harumi-makoto and @moviemovies1 for helping and supplying some waveforms (it's all a weird amalgamation of Konami, SanbikiSCC and GXSCC waveforms).

I might do an extended remix later down the road, as this is an extremely short song.

I wanted a full on creepy and eerie vibe for this track since the setting of this ACT as the zone name may suggest it’s supposed to be very Halloween related, while still trying to offer something that you wouldn’t usually hear on a Sonic OST but being catchy nonetheless.
