Using a heavy bassline mixed up nicely with subtle sounds and effects. Macromism remix is next and It starts with some crisp beats and a gritty bassline takes control making this production really nasty. As last is Alex Costa and it comes to the table with another devastating bassline featuring solid effects and a bit more bouncy percussive elements keeping a good vibe throughout. As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

We are happy to tell you that our next release will be a compilation with five tracks from excellent artists on board with the perfect name 'The Variety Of The Mind'. For this first V.A. release we could win no one less than Piemont, fran&co, Hermanez, Matchy & Bott and Andlee & Kollektiv KlangGut.
With track number one of our compilation, 'Alive', Piemont deliver a tech house bomb just as ex-pected. The two guys create a fantastic build-up and let it explode afterwards. Everything is accom-panied by groovy arp sequences and flying vocal pieces.
When the bassline of 'Shah Parvaz' by fran&co comes in, it just makes you get up and dance. Short-ly after an intense break with hypnotic vocals comes in and creates tension. A captivating synth se-quence accompanies the track and finally oriental flute sounds come in, turning this piece into some-thing really unique.
'Mutation' by Hermanez gives us different percussive sounds swirling around the room. Additional-ly, a shuffling 16th beat and modulating synth sounds make this wonderfully spacy track sound very alive and energetic.
Matchy & Bott bring in the 'Luvvibe', starting with a forward-driven bassline, powerful snares, claps and shakers. A short female vocal sequence with a lot of space marks the central element of this beautiful melancholic composition.
The track name 'So Strong' is right on the spot for the contribution of Andlee & Kollektiv KlangGut. A bass which is housy and dark at the same time and a hypnotic vocal turn this music piece into a real dance floor killer. Forward-pushing hi-hats coming in in the middle making it even more driving and ravy.

Agile Recordings welcomes a collaboration between two of the imprints favourite acts Loco & Jam and Gaston Zani. Teaming up for the first time, the guys have combined their individual styles into a peak time hybrid of fist pumping techno. Officially making their debut collaboration with this three track EP, both Loco & Jam and Gaston Zani are both successful solo acts, and their originals are joined by a fantastic remix by Uto Karem who is an iconic artist from the Italian club scene with releases on other labels ranging from Plus 8 to SCI+TEC. Loco & Jam last featured on Agile Recordings when they contributed to the labels landmark 100th release, but the Northern Irish duo have also featured on other high-profile imprints such as Tronic, Terminal M, Suara and Octopus. Gaston Zani has featured many solo EP’s on Agile Recordings adding the label to his impressive back catalogue that also includes the likes of Intec, AnalyticTrail, Set About and Phobiq. “Enter The World” opens the release with a stomping groove and seductive chord stabs, before “Absolute Chaos” tears the roof off with it’s thundering kick drum and ominous atmosphere. Closing the release is Uto Karem’s rework of “Enter The World” which transforms the track with powerful euphoria and added intensity.

Ramiro López: def.: Chef en potencia, canalla, apasionado de su tierra y de los suyos, constante, valiente, exigente. Trabaja duro.  lleva media vida inmerso en la escena, pero es en 1996 cuando comienza a compartir su pasión por ella trabajando como DJ por diferentes clubes.  

En 2006 Ramiro da el gran salto a la producción musical; experimenta, investiga, adquiere conocimientos, comparte inquietudes con otros artistas y va puliendo poco a poco su sonido. La creación pasa a ser más que una forma de vida. Su toque personal ha calado con el tiempo en sellos de gran relevancia como Drumcode o Suara. Tanto reconocimiento le ha empujado incluso a crear y ser jefe de su propio sello discográfico (junto a Arjun Vagale): Odd Recordings el cual, en muy poco tiempo, no ha parado de crecer y de establecerse como unos de los sellos emergentes más potentes dentro de la escena techno. 

En los últimos años Ramiro ha seguido imparable. En 2017 se convierte en el primer español en publicar un EP en Drumcode (“Pretending”) lanzando, meses después, “Being Alone”, su segundo EP en el sello de Adam Beyer que le consolida como uno de los productores españoles más prometedores y fuertes del momento. En su larga trayectoria, Ramiro también ha trabajo en sellos tan importantes como INTEC del todopoderoso Carl Cox, Octopus Recordings, Kraftek, Terminal M, Bedrock, Noir o Defected por nombrar unos cuantos.

Ramiro sigue inmerso en su búsqueda continua de nuevos sonidos, tendencias y nuevos proyectos que le hagan seguir creciendo. Sus seguidores tampoco paran de crecer y sus tours por Latinoamérica y Estados Unidos son cada vez más frecuentes. En los últimos años sigue abriendo fronteras y descubriendo nuevos destinos en los que dejar su propio sello. En 2018 hace su debut en Australia, país que se suma a otros como Brasil, China, India, Chile, Líbano y países de media Europa donde el manchego, después de más de veinte años de carrera, sigue disfrutando de lo que más le gusta como si fuese el primer día.
