The song is about a relationship that means a lot but where it still doesn't feel clear whether it's love between friends or something more. And that it can feel good to settle into the idea that maybe you don't always need to know. Instead of forcing an answer, just hang out and see. Maybe that's the only way to actually find out.

Jamuary 2025 Day 12: Title explains it for the most part.  Sounds were sliced from sounds made by my voice and kitchen sounds (ie exhaust fan, drawers opening/closing, hitting different types of cups and mugs and hitting bowls with water moving in them for bends).

Right now it's all percussion but I might try to see if I can put some guitars on it, especially long whole note chords to give the beat the heavy lifting and not over-crowd an already-overcrowded song haha

1-12-25 Experiment with Voice Sounds for Beatbox and Kitchen Sounds (Demo)

Jam 5 for the Seed 2 Stage Jamnuary challenge.  This is an experiment in random automation to make an ever evolving track from the source material.  It could go on for a good 20 minutes changing all the time. I used grouped notes and random follow on actions and effects triggers.  I then edited the result down to this.

Jam 5 - Think in Time MK2

It is a short demo of an idea for a more dramatic piece...I imagined a leadership of a futuristic (or not) cabalt mine, in the middle of nowhere, celebrating great results, against the sound of slightly underage workers digging outside.  I used the more pronounced melodic idea, with lot's of bass.  It follows a kind of minor pattern but with quite some borrowed chords for more contrast...
