Pakistan is plagued by chronic instability. Ethnic-religious conflicts, terrorism, authoritarianism, human rights violations, and corruption are the country's problems. Chad is a landlocked country in Central Africa. It borders Libya to the north, Sudan to the east, the Central African Republic to the south, and Niger, Nigeria, and Cameroon to the west. According to several political indicators, the country remains authoritarian, lacks freedom, and is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Serious human rights violations continue to occur regularly in Chad.

Until around 1950, Argentina was one of the richest countries in the world. Traditionally, agriculture, livestock farming and raw material extraction played a major role in the economy, although today the service sector accounts for the largest share of GDP at around 60%.

Politically and culturally, the country was strongly influenced by immigration from Europe, especially Italy and Spain, until the mid-20th century. The most important stages since then have been Peronism (1946–1955; 1973–1976), several military dictatorships (particularly from 1976 to 1983), redemocratization (after 1983), and neoliberalism (1990s), up to the Argentine crisis (2001–2005) and the subsequent consolidation.
