"Plunyon" is a historic bridge built in 1982-1983 that originally served as a local irrigation system before evolving into a tourist attraction. Contrary to popular belief, it was built by the locals, not the Dutch. The name "Plunyon" is derived from the word Lunyu (meaning "slippery").

Drawing inspiration from this narrative, Sanjonas fuses the essential of Gqom, Gorge with local rhythms aesthetic—and vice versa—creating a dynamic interplay of global and regional sounds.

On “Dabkecore شعلت”, Laylit’s very own Nadim Maghzal (@nadim-maghzal) lends his signature frenetic touch to a Syrian Dabke classic. A rousing staple of the Laylit party dancefloor, Maghzal’s remix doubles down on the percussion and unleashes a dance of infectious vocal loops around the electric Dabkeh keyboard.

[As we further distract ourselves from our environment, we channel our collective intelligence into solving problems of our own design. Our intuition—once attuned to the endless cycle of transformation—fades, taking a backseat to progress. In our pursuit of control and dominance, we decrypt nature’s patterns, quantify its rhythm, mimic its choreography— all the while unlearning how to dance the dance ourselves.
