I played many live sets in 2022. Each one was special and each one was different. I recorded just a few. This one I wanted to share with you.

My dear friends

I am happy to share my live recordings of one of the most magical night of my career so far.
I was invited to play in Oaxaca, Mexico together with Acid Pauli during 'Day of the dead' on 31st of oct 2015.
We played in some kind of old spanish church in the middle of the night. Because it was ‘the day of the death’ everybody was dressed like skelletons. They painted me as my dog Rivaldo, that passed away 3 months ago.
You can imagine playing in Mexico in a temple, on the day of the dead, with Acid Pauli, in front of Skelletons, while I was painted like my Rivaldo (and Martin had some kind of Jezus outfit) was pretty magical.

So I am excited to share with you the live recordings of this night.
I want to thank Mariana, ALKEMY and gem&bolt party w/ guest mezcal Amores and Meteoro to set up this night.
And all the people who came to show: you really made that temple come alive again!!

Witchtape #29 | ‘El bosque oscuro’ by Arkadiusz

That day the little witch walked through the forest for her daily inspection round. She felt intensely happy when she saw all these species of plants and animals thriving and blending into a unique ecosystem – something which was far from being the case on the day she arrived in the forest as a child, now 10 years ago. Yet there was one part of the woods which wasn’t doing well. It was also the only section of the forest where there were traces of past human activity : concrete bunkers, trenches and craters. A peaceful being like a witch couldn’t understand what had happened, but surely some fierce fighting must have taken place there. While nature was gradually reclaiming this area and the bunkers became overgrown with moss, recovery was slow and the witch sensed the presence of some dark energy. There were still no flowers or bird’s nests or rabbit holes in that particular area. She was especially worried about the little oak tree which she planted a few months earlier in the middle of this dark section. This little tree is full of potential as it is destined to live for 1000 years and over time become one of the mother trees of the forest ecosystem, yet at that moment it was still small and fragile. But that day her attention was caught by some unusual activity around the little tree. It turned out to be a group of badgers who were digging frenetically several burrows in the ground. This filled the young witch with joy, as these were the very first badgers she ever saw in her forest. And she had heard a lot about their reputation : badgers are very peaceful when left alone, but they’ll defend themselves ferociously when they’re under threat. Even wolves avoid trouble with badgers.
The witch cautiously approached one of the badgers and greeted him politely. The animal immediately blew his whistle and within seconds all badgers converged in front of the witch, 11 in total. They seemed to know that there was a witch protecting this forest and they were very friendly towards her. The badgers explained that they wanted to settle in this forest and the witch showed her gratitude towards these ebullient animals. They even allowed her to play and cuddle with them. After a while she asked what they were digging and the leader of the badgers replied that they were constructing a sett. The witch had never heard of this word, and the animal explained that this is an elaborate system of burrows and tunnels and they are planning to use it for the next few decades. The little witch noticed that the burrows formed a near-perfect circle around the little tree and she made clear to the badgers that this tiny oak tree is destined to become a very important mother tree. When she pointed towards the tiny tree, the 11 badgers looked synchronously at it, and then synchronously back at the witch and the determined look on their faces made it clear that nothing or nobody would ever be allowed to harm that little tree. And the witch knew they would defend it with a ferocity which only badgers can harness.
And from that day onwards, the witch would come and visit the badgers every day as they continued expanding their sprawling underground complex, while the little oak tree grew everyday a little bigger in the safest place of the forest, right in the middle of the sett…

On a beautiful Thursday afternoon on the playa , Sanctuary , Happy Campers and Gardens of Babylon created “ We are not Robots “ a circus of extraordinary humanoids under the magical dome of 1001 nights camp over on the back streets of 4:45 and J .
This Was truly a bonding labor of Love , we had a beautiful silken dome and the floors were cushioned by playground rubber matts which made everyone take off their shoes so they can jump and dance freely in front of the 50 .000 Watt Turbo Sound System calibrated by our legendary sound engineer .
That being said :
We have decided to release one of the most hauntingly beautiful sets that captured everyones soul at the event .Our 2 favorite Aliens  BRITTA / UNDERS were supposed to play 2 hours , we absolutely had to ask them to prolong the journey for a full 4 hour set which can be described as a "Dustyfairytale"  .They seamlessly poured eclectic sounds and vibrations that made us dancing fools think it was part of a Techno sound bath experiment ,They surpassed our wildest imagination and the crowd has never been so mesmerised by their energy and frequencies ever since.  After hearing the feedback of this magical set , it was our duty to release this as soon as the dust settled. 
We HOPE You enjoy this set as much as we all did . 
From the bottom of our GIANT Hearts , we thank everyone who was able to experience this magical day with us at Burning Man 2018.

I always found it challenging to record a studio podcast: my analytical mind is trying to calculate every move, evaluate each transition & criticize the selection. I have time, music & equipment at my disposal, but one key element is missing to really tell a story: humans.

I encountered that problem last weekend. Although I was playing music I enjoy, I felt that my technically structured mix was too stiff and impersonal.

Then, some of my favourite humans turned up at the studio. As Ashley, Apolline, Axel & Robin entered the room, the studio was suddenly filled with a great energy & I felt like pressing the rec button again, just for fun - this is when the first minutes of  S y m b i o s e  were captured.

I feel this studio mix is an authentic representation of the energy levels I like to navigate through during a longer set. It features some of my favourite tracks in a nod to the past but also has a touch of the future; new sounds that are moving me forward & some of my new compositions.

I’m happy to share this mix as I’m taking off for Argentina, what marks my first adventure of the decade. This music session brought me clarity, presence & joy! I hope you'll resonate with it.
